Both Killua and Gon's eyes widened. Gon started choking on his drink, hitting his chest to try and stop the coughing.
Everyone in the restaurant turned to look at them with annoyed expressions on their faces. Killua glared at them, causing them to turn back around and focus on their conversations and the meals in front of them.
"Sweetie- do you know what gay means?" Killua asked, his expression still a shocked one.
"Yeah," Izzy replied. "It's when two boys like each other."
"Not just boys, Izzy." Gon said as his coughing finally died down. "It can be two girls also, although there's a different word for that."
"But you didn't answer her question," Sophia stated.
"No, I'm not gay." Killua stated.
"Neither am I." Gon stated soon after.
"Ya know, Izzy. You have a pretty big vocabulary for you to only be 3 years old," Gon said, sipping his drink yet again.
"You're jush now realizing that? I'm smart."
"Okay, smartass."
"Oh, dad! I have to tell you something about big brother, Inosuke." Izzy said suddenly.
"What is it?"
"He wants to dye his hair. He wants it green like yours. He said he doesn't like the blue anymore."
"Well, I don't see why. I'm planning to dye the tips black, I hate having green hair." Gon said with a small frown forming on his face.
"Green hair isn't necesharily ugly. I like my hair, the green tips make my outfish look so good."
"That's true, sweetie. If you like your hair, then you can keep it like that, I just don't like mine."
"I like it." Killua blurted out. "I think it's unique, like Sophia's hair."
"You think my hair is unique?" Sophia asked her dad.
"Always have." Killua replied.
"I like it too. It's really cute, I love the little stripe of white, it contrastsh with the black so perfectly." Izzy said.
Sophia softly smiled and looked away, "T-Thank you."
"You're welcome." Izzy said as she started back eating her food.
The group ate their food with satisfied expressions on their faces. The food was exceptionally good and Killua had never tasted anything like it. It was truly splendid.
The kids finished their meals rather quickly. As they swallowed their last bites, they ran back to the playroom, leaving Killua and Gon alone once again.
"I still can't believe she asked us that," Killua said with a chuckle following.
"Well, I guess in a way, she's not necessarily wrong. Well about me at least," Gon said.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm pansexual." Gon replied, with a nervous look on his face.
For a few minutes, Killua didn't utter a word. It's not that he was homophobic or anything, he just didn't expect Gon to be pansexual. He kind of just assumed that Gon was straight because he had sex with a girl more than once and had kids with her too.
"W-Well..." Killua started. "I guess that could be the same case for me.. but I'm not sure. I know I'm not entirely straight, though. I mean, I do still like girls, I guess I just lean towards boys more. So, I guess I'm bisexual?"
