BONUS - Chris' POV

2 Months Later

'Wow, her hair's so soft always!! Wow' thought Chris to himself as he caressed Tanaya, who was snuggled up to him on the couch.

It had been a hectic day at work for both but, special cuddles were the treats that kept them going.

A good movie, popcorn, romantic dim lighting and the perfect girl next to you, "Life's good"; the words escaped Chris's mouth. Only then did he realise, that he uttered those words when Tanaya looked at him with surprised eyes mouthing 'what?'

'She's always talking about how pretty my eyes are... How is it so that I have never told her how beautiful her eyes are, just like her nature, calm and composed with a tinge of hidden mischief lurking somewhere in her ocean of kindness? An ambitious person, when it comes to achieving goals or showering care, she's a lover and a keeper. I really have hit the jackpot'

"Jackpot," said Chris.

"Jackpot what, Chris?" asked Tanaya, letting out a small chuckle.

Chris looked at her, his eyes glistening with pure admiration and said, "You, my love."

A smile spread on Tanaya's face as she felt her emotions spread all over her body, the feeling she had been longing for since high school... It was finally hers to cherish!!

'From just a beautiful stranger to THE beautiful one next to me, we have come such a long way. Never once did I stop thinking why I felt so close and attached to someone... Heightened feelings and happiness, that's love, now I know'

All these thoughts tossed around Chris's mind, just like those waves in Andaman beach, the place where they fell in love, where he kissed someone who gave him 'love of my life' vibes.

Tanaya was back into being deeply engrossed in the movie but, all that Chris could think about was thankfulness and gratitude for being loved.

Everyone loves, not everyone is loved and, being loved by the one you love, that's the catch!

Wading through these thoughts he reached a particular memory, one where he hated Tanaya for hiding her feelings. Tanaya was the secretive type, she would hide her sorrow and that's the only drawback Chris hated about her.

There was this one time when she had a disagreement with one of her colleagues at work and ended up being disrespected by him and a few of his sidekicks. With immense maturity, Tanaya had handled the situation and returned home with a straight face but she broke down in the bathroom, sounds of which reached Chris.

"Do you have any idea, how freaked out I was?" muttered Chris distracting Tanaya from the movie.

"What are u talking about Chris?" asked Tanaya, surprising her all over again.

"Listen to me because this is the last time I'm saying this. You will NEVER EVER hide your emotions from me, alright?" said Chris, a puppy look spreading in his eyes.

"Awww, were u just thinking about the first and last time I did it with you? No, I promise you, Chris, I'm never doing it again," responded Tanaya.

"First and last huh, heheheh" Chris started laughing and tickling Tanaya.

She couldn't stop laughing, she looked exceptionally pretty when she laughed like that and, Chris couldn't stop staring at her as he kept tickling, his grin never leaving his face for a second.

"Baby let's dance," whispered Chris in a low, husky and seductive voice. Tanaya absolutely loved this side of his in contrast to the bubbly, jovial one.

"Miley Cyrus again?"

"Definitely!!" blushed Tanaya

As they danced around like little lovebirds, Chris thought about how adorably Tanaya's obsessions worked be it, Miley Cyrus or Harry Potter.

Be it screaming the songs while taking a bath, before he could surprise her by joining her under the hot shower or muttering dialogues along with The Goblet of Fire even when half asleep during the movie, her passion towards whatever she loved was inspiring.

"You know what, Tan? There's this one thing that I absolutely love about you."

Tanaya raised her head from his chest to look at him whilst they continued dancing and asked, "What?"

"Your passionate procrastination," said Chris letting out a mischievous giggle.

"OMG WHAT, Chris!" laughed out Tanaya and their laughter echoed everywhere...

The overwhelming happiness, vibes and a sense of calmness, all of its source was none other than Tanaya for Chris.

"Alright, no kidding this time. Do you know what I need right now?" asked Chris, pulling her closer as their bodies moved to the pleasant beats.

Tanaya got onto her tiptoes, looked into his eyes for a few seconds before closing them as she went in for the kiss.

It lasted for some beautiful moments, rainbows, sunshine and strawberries in their minds before she pulled back and said,

"This♡"

She finally knew the perfect answer to Chris's last question...

Since Tanaya being me, writing this chapter was difficult for me, not to forget awkward (writing about myself...that to from a male perspective) so I needed to call in reinforcements.
