Prologue + Character Profiles

They say money can buy you happiness. It's said to be the truth of life. As long as you have money, you have nothing to worry about.  But would the people who actually have that money agree with this?

Hera Palace, the most luxurious and high-rising apartment complex in Seoul, South Korea is home to members of the famous Hera Club. These families are known all over the country for their riches and fame and are the source of envy for many. They have it all. Money, property, a happy family, a strong friendship...but is reality really the way outsiders see it?

The children of these families, referred to as 'Little Hera Club' might have different stories to tell. Things no one can ever know, horrifying incidents that take place behind closed doors. For them, Hera Palace is nothing but a dark abyss of loneliness and fear. Pain and fear is all they've known their whole lives. Nobody to trust, nobody to rely on and that eventually led to their rotten personalities.

This infamous group are known as the rulers of Cheong A arts high school which is one of the most prestigious high schools all over the world. But for our Little Hera Club, it's nothing but their playground and the students are their toys. They cope with their dark lives by destroying the lives of others. They are too far away from the light, their souls darkening with each passing day.

"Happiness is a myth. No one can ever be happy."

That's how they've lived their life's for these 17 years. It never got better but ruling over the students and finding pleasure in their cries helped them cope with life. It would've never change. So they accepted this as their lifestyle. There was no guilt or will to apologize.

"We did nothing wrong. It's our parents fault that we turned out like this."

Little did they know that their life was going to take a sharp turn the day Bae Rona set foot in the high school. She was from a different world. No money. No property. No family.  All she had was her mother who worked day and night just to earn enough for them to get by. However,  Rona's ambitions and talents were too much for her to stay the way she was. She got into the most prestigious high school because of her exemplary skills that no one could turn a blind eye on.

"Shes gonna be a pain"

The thought resonated in the entire student body of the school, the little hera club included. They watched her walk into the classroom with long, confident strides. Her bright eyes looked at her classmates as she flashed the brightest smile.

"...or be the one to relieve us of our never ending pain?"

         "FIX me, please?"
