Rona slowly walked inside Logan's private jet as the three air hostesses bowed down to her, welcoming her. She still felt like shit. The look of absolute hate that Seokhoon had given her. She couldn't believe that their last conversation had been based on a misunderstanding. She sighed. Maybe it was a good thing. Maybe it would be easier to get over her feelings for him if she reminded herself of his dark gaze. "He wished I was dead..." It hurt. She had never felt this way for someone. She couldn't believe her first love was someone that he had created to make her fall for him and that the Seokhoon she fell for had never existed from the beginning.
She sat on a seat and closed her eyes. "Let's forget everything, Rona-ya. Let's pretend this was just a very bad dream." She plugged in her air pods and played some classical music on her phone and began to read the Romeo and Juliet novel that she had always carried around with her wherever she went. She smiled bitterly as her eyes fell on her favourite quote from the book.
"For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo."
"My romeo..." She mumbled as she let the music playing her ears drown her out of reality. She remembered the warmth of his body she had felt when he had held her close that night on the cruise. His tender voice that had chased away the haunting memories of her father. The smiles he had flashed towards her when they had studied together for the exams. A tear drop fell on the pages of the book. "You...are very cruel."
Unbeknownst to Rona, a dark figure watched her from behind. He was tall and had broad shoulders. He wore a black hoodie and black joggers, with a black mask covering his face. He touched the gun that was placed inside his pocket while nodding to the men who had grim looks on their faces as they stood behind the air hostesses.
"Hyung, I've spotted the target." He whispered on his phone.
"Good. You know what you have to do."
He smirked.
"Yes. I'll bring the body to you tomorrow."
**************************************************************************************** Seokhoon and Seokkyung stared at the television in shock as the reporter began to narrate the results of investigating Yoonhee.
"The cctv footage outside the penthouse confirms the fact that Ms Oh yoonhee wasn't present at the time Shim Suryeon was stabbed. Furthermore, the fingerprints on the dagger doesn't belong to Oh yoonhee. In fact, the fingerprints belong to Ms. Shim's ex husband, Chairman Joo Dantae." They stood up and looked at Dantae who had dropped the cup of tea he was holding. "Appa...what does this mean?" Seokkyung said as she clenched her fists.
The door burst open and a couple of police offers rushed in and handcuffed Joo Dantae. "You are under arrest for the murder of Shim Suryeon. You have the right to stay silent during investigations." Dan tae resisted as he began to yell. "What kind of nonsense is this? Why would I kill the mother of my kids? This is wrong. Let me go!" Logan and Yoonhee walked in and smirked as they stood beside each other and watched Dan tae being dragged away.
"Our plan succeeded." Logan said while smiling at Yoonhee who nodded. "By trying to kill Suryeon unnie, he only made it easier for us to frame him." She looked at the Joo twins who now sat in shock. "We should tell the kids quickly that Suryeon unnie is alive. They must be terrified right now." Logan nodded. "Suryeon-shhi is still unconscious. The effect of the drug she ate to stop her heart for a few hours while they analysed the stab wounds will wear off in a couple of hours. I'll tell them once she awakes."
Seokhoon had only one thing on his mind.
Rona.
He rubbed his temples as he sighed. He had said such hurtful things to her because of his emotions. She had probably left by now. He would never see her again. He had been hoping to do everything to get her to forgive him but he ended up ruining it anymore. He sighed again. He glanced over at Oh yoonhee who was talking to Logan at the corner of the room. Should he ask her for help? He really wished he could turn back time right now.
