Seokkyung came back to school after a few days with a bright smile and continued to act like nothing had happened. Rona wished she would talk to her about the huge scar on Seokkyung's forehead but she decided to not cross her limits knowing it was probably a sensitive topic for both of the twins. On the other hand, Seokhoon and Rona chose to not define where they stood in each other's lives yet and simply continued to spend time with each other. They both knew they felt something more than 'friendship' for the other one but because of everything that had been going on, they decided to just simply not put any label on anything.
That night in Seokhoon's practice room, he had finally released all his bottled up feelings and ended up telling Rona about the abuse and the recent death threat Seokkyung had received from her father. "Don't beat yourself up because of what he does to you both. You are still only 17. We will figure out something together, okay?" Rona had said while holding the boy in her arms. Two weeks had passed since that day but no matter how hard Rona thought, no solution came to her mind. She sat alone on the swings where she would often meet Seola, drowned in her worries. She wanted to be a good friend like they had been to her but there was nothing she could do. She heaved a sorrowful sigh and hung her head down. The frustration she felt at that moment was eating her away inside. She needed to somehow get the twins away from their father for now. Before something bad happened again, she needed to get them away from that demon.
"Oi Bae Rona, whatchu still doing here? It's almost dinnertime shouldn't you head home?" She lifted her head and saw Hodong approach her while holding a helmet in one hand. He was wearing the same tracksuit as always and his hair was still a big mess. He seated himself on the swing beside Rona and looked at her. "Did the kids start troubling you, again?" In the past weeks, Rona had developed a strange liking to the teacher. He somehow felt like some long lost brother she never had. He had always punished every student who had attempted to hurt Rona and made sure the other teachers didn't leave her out in any way. They would often talk after school ended and she had begun to rely on Hodong a lot. She still never understood why the teacher went out of his way to look after her for no reason but she loved the way he treated her. She could no longer imagine her life without him.
"It's not that. Thing is... it seems like all those kids don't really have amazing lives." Hodong frowned. "Whaddyu mean?" Rona looked at him with a sad expression. "Seokhoon and Seokkyung are currently being physically and mentally abused by their father. And it seems like their mother also left the house. I'm worried for them." Hodong's face hardened. "Why would you worry about those demon kids..." Rona smiled at the teacher. "Ssaem, Seokhoon and Seokkyung appear cold but they're really nice. They treat me so well!" Hodong looked at the young girl smile innocently at him as he felt the knot in his stomach grow tighter. "Since you won't stop worrying unless those kids get help, I have no choice but to interfere." Rona looked at the man with a confused face. "What can you do?" She was skeptical. She knew Hodong didn't have much power compared to Seojin or Mr. Ma. Hodong simply smiled at her. "Ssaem will look after everything. So Rona, stop wasting your time worrying about them and just focus on yourself." He handed her a carton of her favourite chocolate milk. "I see you only drink these. Go home, now." He waved at her and walked away from her, stuffing his hands in the pocket of his jacket. A stern expression on his face. "Joo Dantae..."

The next morning, all the students were assembled in the school auditorium for some unknown reason. Everyone shuffled in small groups while looking extremely confused. Rona and the other Hera kids except for Eunbyeol grabbed a seat next to each other in the front row, murmuring amongst themselves since they had no clue of what was going on as well. Eunbyeol looked on at Rona who was sitting beside Seokhoon from a seat far away in the back while biting her lower lip and continuously stroking her hair. "Slut." She muttered softly.
