Hua (Hua Cheng x Xie Lian Love Story)

"It's those two!"

Meeting He Xuan's eyes I acknowledge the fact that my radar could read the intruders. They're here; and they're here for him.

"Hua, is everything alright?"

Not really.

Just then the bell rang and heaving a huge sigh of frustration I opened the door to see them. The two great Martial Gods and Dianxia's friends; Mu Qing and Feng Xin.

Narrowing my eyes I noticed they weren't perturbed in any way. So they knew of Dianxia's existence.

"What are you two doing here?"

"Long time no see Crimson Rain Sought Flower." At Mu Qing's sneer a low growl rumbled within me and even though they didn't flinch, yet I noticed their eyes dilate with fear.

Pushing past me it was Feng Xin who entered first with Mu Qing closely following him and stopped tracks as they saw Dianxia.

"Hi," greeting the two newcomers Dianxia was as usual excited. "Are you two Hua's friends?"

I had to snort and they stiffened visibly. If not for my beloved, these two would never have even been associated with my shadow.

"No. They aren't Hua's friends." He Xuan was quick to jump in and add words to my merriment, "They were his partner's servants."

I laughed out loudly whilst Mu Qing and Feng Xin cautioned He Xuan, "Watch out Water!"

As Mu Qing threatened, I could sense He Xuan's amusement; "Or what? You going to spank me?"

A loud cough resonated next to me and instantly my eyes landed on Dianxia who was laughing softly. Adding to the pleasure I introduced them to Dianxia, "This is Qing Kong and that's Feng Shui."

Dianxia outrightly started laughing while the latter two were fuming.

Who cared?

For me at this moment watching my beloved smile and laugh was like a soul returning to one's body and living life in paradise. He was ethereal. I missed you, Gege.

"Crim-" with a cough Feng Xin continued, "Nevermind. You won't ever change." Taking a step forward he raised his hand to shake Dianxia's, "Hi! I am Feng Xander and that's Max King."

Reciprocating with kindness Dianxia smiled, "Hi! Nice to meet you two. My name is Gabriel Li and friend's call me Li."

He didn't tell them his name was Xie Lian! Why?

Before they could speak further he turned to look at me, "As much as I would love to stay around and meet your friends-"

"They aren't my friends," I interjected and he coolly dismissed my words.

"As I was saying before you interrupted me, I would love to stay and get to know all of you but I need to leave."

"Where?" This surprised me.

"What where? I need to go to the university. Have assignments to submit."

"You can't go! You're unwell."

"Of course not!" Flexing his muscles he retorted, "See I am well. Who said I was sick?"

"Me! You were having fever last night!"

"Yes! That was last night. This morning I am absolutely fine!"

Was he always this infuriating!?

"You can't go Dianxia. You were trembling last night in my arms!"

"Yes, and you very lovingly took care of me. Now that I am fine, I need to go!"
