Adeline Bellatrix Malfoy. The fraternal twin to Draco Lucius Malfoy, the daughter of both Narcissa Black and Lucius Abraxas Malfoy. Adeline envied siblings she saw around her, they were close and got along well. Her and Draco did not, no matter the amount of times she tried he didn't care for it. Their parents had made it a habit to compare both children despite their differences. Adeline had long straw like hair not like Draco who had his bright blonde hair slicked back with handfuls of gels. Adeline found interest in reading books about everything and anything she enjoyed learning things also. She tried to see the good in everyone whilst also bringing it out of them. However living in the grooling dark halls of the Malfoy Manor made that extremely difficult.
Sometimes Adeline thought she had figured her family and all their many secrets they held. Little did she know that one small letter could and will change her life. The letter to finally say she had a place at Hogwarts, her father would always drone on and on about how Adeline and her brother would receive a place no matter what seeing as he was a governor there. When Adeline was a little girl her mother would tell her countless stories about what Hogwarts was like long ago. She made it sound so magical and amazing. Learning magic, spells and potions was Adeline's favourite hobby to do when she was locked up in her room.
September 1st soon crept up on Adeline quite quickly. Her father had bought her books, her cauldrons and a pet. A classic black cat, Jade. After one of her favourite crystals, she knew a lot about crystals and their jobs. She was going to try and not be named as a know it all at her new school.
Adeline spent the majority of her time lying on her bed staring at her ceiling and thinking or day dreaming about the future. Her bed was a lot bigger than a usual bed of someone her age, her room in general was very big. She had high black ceilings, rich dark green painted wall, all of the darkness making her look as small as a mouse. She was procrastinating getting ready because she was too busy daydreaming but a servant woke her for the fourth time.
Adeline buttoned up the nicely fitted white shirt, then she pulled the grey skirt up her legs after her tights. The skirt fell just above her knees. She shimmied herself through a dark jumper which would soon have her house emblem sewn onto it. Her shoes buckled over feet as Adeline adjusted them making sure they were still in the condition her mother gave her them in.
Adeline looked up from her mirror when someone knocked on her door, her mother. Her mother evidently favoured her children over her status but she clearly had a favourite child.
"Good morning Adeline." Narcissa Malfoy welcomed herself into her daughters bedroom, she looked at Adeline almost laughing at the fact her feet wouldn't touch the floor when sitting in her makeup chair.
"Morning Mother."
