Grace was worried about what Keegan had told her about the condom breaking. She was scared she could have been pregnant. She knew she was only young. And she had been through so much lately.

When she woke that morning, she heard her dad's bed banging against a wall. She smiled slightly knowing she was happy that her dad had found someone. Grace had become close to Charley too. She had become like a mum to her.

Grace climbed out of her bed and sighed as she walked downstairs. She saw Amy sitting on the sofa. "Morning."

"Dad has a lady friend here again. I hope it's Charley. She's nice to me," Amy said.

Grace smiled. "She's nice to us all."

Amy looked at her sister. "Why were you crying? I heard you last night."

Grace smiled as she pulled her into an hug. "I'm okay Amy. I promise."

"Good. Because you're my big sister and I don't want to lose you like I did mummy," Amy said as she walked off.

Keegan ran over to Grace as he saw her walking across the square. He sighed. "Why are you avoiding me? I'm sorry."

"You could have told me after we had sex! Now I have to wait and see if I get my period because it's too late for me to see a doctor and get the morning after pill!" She said.

Keegan nodded. "I know. I'm sorry. But... have you told your dad? I'm guessing you haven't because he hasn't been banging at my door killing me."

Grace sighed. "No I haven't told him. I told Charley and she's the one who's getting me a pregnancy test if my period is late. Which I'm hoping it's not. I'm too young to have a baby."

Keegan smiled. "But if you were, I'd support you."

"How can you be okay with this? We are teenagers. We're only young! I don't want a baby."

"But I do. I want the whole lot of it with you."

Grace shook her head. "I'm only a teenager Keegan. And I don't know if we want the same things," she said as she walked off.

***
Jack was sitting in the house. He smiled as Amy ran in. "Hello darling."

"Gracie was crying last night. But she said she was okay."

Jack frowned. He looked at Charley. "Has she said anything to you? I know you're both close."

Charley shook her head. "She hasn't. But I can talk to her if you want me to," she told him.

"Thanks babe."

Grace was sitting in the square. Charley walked over to her and smiled. "Hey. Amy told us you were crying last night. Are you okay?" She asked.

Grace sighed and shook her head. "I'm scared. what if I am pregnant? I'm only a teenager. I can't have a baby. My dad will kill me. And then Keegan is telling me that he wants me to be pregnant. It's easy for him. His mum doesn't give a damn what he gets up to. But my dad? He will kill me and then kill Keegan."

Charley sighed. "I know how you're feeling. Honestly. But... you have to understand that your dad is a decent man. He will understand. He'll understand that you had protection and that it broke. These things happen."

Grace looked at her. "Has it ever happened with you?"

"Yeah. It happened with me and your dad before. But thankfully I wasn't pregnant. But he understands that it can happen," she told her.

Grace wiped away her tears. "I wish my mum was here too. She would help me."

"I know babes. But everything will be okay. When is your period due?" She asked.

"Next week."

"I'll buy you a test next week. And then I'll take you somewhere and then we can find out if you're pregnant. Okay?"

"Okay."

Grace was sitting in the living room with her dad. He smiled. "Go I know you can talk to me right? About anything."

"I know daddy. Thanks."

Jack smiled and looked at her. But he had no idea how her life was going to change.
