Grace had been banned from seeing Keegan. Jack took her to school each morning and he picked her up. Grace felt like she was a prisoner. She hated how she and Keegan had been pulled apart.

That morning, Grace walked downstairs. She saw Jack there. "Where's Charley?" She asked as she looked at her dad.

"She's at home. Thought it was wise. Considering she covered for you with the pregnancy test."

Grace frowned. "Don't split up. Not cause she covered for me."

"We're not. I just wanted to talk to you. I love Charley. But I just wanted to know what's going on with you. Why you thought you couldn't talk to me," Jack said.

Grace sighed. "I don't know dad. I just... I felt like everything was going wrong. And I thought that if I told you, you'd kick me out."

Jack frowned. "I'd never kick you out. You're my daughter. I love you."

Grace had snuck out the house to see Keegan. She kissed him as she met him in the alley by the pub. "My dad thinks I'm doing homework with my AirPods in," she said.

Keegan smiled. He pulled her close and kissed her. "He can try to keep us apart. But I love you."

"I love you too. And it won't be forever. Just until we can be together properly. And until my dad realises that we're going to work."

Keegan smiled and nodded. He lifted her up by her waist and held her against the wall. "Meet me tonight. The allotments. It won't be the best. But I can make it romantic."

Grace smiled and nodded. She looked to him. "I should go. Before my dad realises Ive disappeared."

Grace left the alleyway and bumped into Charley. She paled. "Oops."

"Yeah oops. Your dad thinks you're doing homework... I gather you were with Keegan?" Charley asked.

Grace nodded and sighed. "Please don't tell my dad. He will just keep me locked up even longer. And I love Keegan and I want to be with him."

Charley sighed and looked to her. She smiled. "Here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to text your dad to meet me. Then while I'm with him, you get back in the house. Amy and Ricky are with Rainie and Max," she said as she text Jack.

"Thank you."

"Go on. He's coming now. So go."

Grace made it back into the house. She sighed and sat on the sofa. Grace had no idea why everything just wasn't going right for her.

She knew how much she wanted to be with Keegan. But she just felt like the odds were stacked against them both and she hated it.

That evening, Grace got changed into a dress. She snuck downstairs and saw her dad with Charley on the sofa. She smirked to herself knowing it would be easy to sneak out.

She eventually got to the allotments and saw Keegan there. She smiled as he pulled her close and kissed her. "It's the best I could do."

"I think it's perfect."

The two of them kissed again. Keegan took her inside. He laid her down the on blanket he had put there and looked into her eyes. "Marry me. It's the only way we can prove we're serious."

Grace looked to him in shock. But would she say yes or no?
