Grace walked into her bedroom with Charley. Charley handed her the pregnancy test. Grace was shaking. "What am I going to do if this is positive?" She asked.

Charley smiled. "Then I'll talk to your dad with you. Help keep him calm," she said.

Grace was trying to not cry. She didn't want to be pregnant. But she knew she should have been careful.

Charley smiled as she looked at her. "Go and take the test."

Grace walked into the bathroom. She sat son on the toilet and sighed. She knew that if she was pregnant, she would have to tell her father. And she was worried about that.

Grace had taken the test. She walked back into her room. She handed the test to Charley. "Can you tell me? I don't want to look," she mumbled.

"Sure."

A few minutes later, Charley smiled. "It's negative. You're not pregnant," she said as she hugged her.

Grace sighed in relief. She looked at her. "Can you get rid of the test please? If my dad sees it, he will know it's me," she said.

"Course. You go head out and do what you need to. I'll sort this," Charley said as she hugged her.

Grace nodded and smiled. She grabbed her jacket and walked out. She felt relieved she wasn't pregnant. But she knew deep down, if she was pregnant, she would have kept the baby.

Jack stopped her before she could leave the house. "Are you okay? You've been a little off."

"I'm okay now dad. I've had some issues. But I'm okay. I promise."

"Good. You're my little girl and I love you. I don't want you to be upset or anything. You know you can talk to me," Jack said.

Grace smiled. "Thanks dad. I love you."

"Love you too princess."

Grace was sitting in the square. She saw Keegan as he walked towards her. "Did you take the test?" He asked.

Grace nodded. "It was negative. I'm not pregnant. Charley threw the test away."

"So we're not having a baby?"

Grace shook her head. "We're not having a baby. No. I guess I wanted it deep down. But it's not the right time. And we both know that," she told him.

Keegan knew that part of him wanted Grace to be pregnant. He wanted to show everyone he wasn't a deadbeat. He just wanted to do good at something.

Grace looked at him and smiled. "I know that you wanted there to be a baby. But think of it like this, we're not ready yet. We have time to make something of ourselves. And then we can show our children how we made it. How we did something good," she said.

Keegan nodded. He took her hand. "I want us to be happy. You're my future. And I don't want anyone else. We're young, yes. But I just know that we're going to be okay."

Jack saw Grace with Keegan and sighed. He didn't like how close the two of them were. He knew that Grace had been distant from him. But could he find the reason why she had been distant? And would he even like what he found out?
