Jisung paced in his room. He got too nervous each time he was going to ask the girl, running out of time within the two day limit. Taeyong, true to his word, grounded the two. Aecha didn't know why but accepted it anyway. Jisung sat on his bed, thinking to himself.
'It shouldn't be that hard. Just ask, and then she replies. Simple.' It was not that simple. One of the easier said then done things.
"Fuck it." He said as he walked out of his room and into the living room where the girl sat while the rest were on a mission.''Aecha, fuck this is going to sound weird, all right." He began, knowing that if he didn't do it now, he wouldn't be able to do it at all. The girl nodded for him to go on. He ran his hand through his hair.
"Aecha, fuck this is so weird." The boy said begining to get frustrated with himself.
"Aechawillyougooutwithme?" He said quickly. Aecha looked him like he was crazy.
"I didn't understand a single word." Aecha deadpanned. She watched a deep red hue rise onto the boys face. His hands in his hair now resided against his eyes, terrified to see her reaction. Even though he would hear it anyways.
"Aecha, I like you. Will you go out with me." He said sheepishly. She was shocked but excited nonetheless, so much she couldn't form a single word in reply.
" I...this was a mistake. I'm sorry." He said, getting up, thinking that she didn't like him back unlike what he'd been told.
"Don't go." He heard a soft voice say as he was almost in his room, but she didn't know that he heard her.
"Damn, misssd that one. " She laughed sadly. Jisung froze in his doorway. He heard her phone go off in her bedroom. Jisung quickly went into his room, to make it look like he's been in there. He heard her pick up the phone, letting out a small sniffle before answering the person on the other end.
"Hey Mark, what do you need?" She said, trying to hide the fact that she'd been crying.
"Aecha, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Mark asked.
"Nothing much. Just you know, fucked up again." She said bitterly.
"Cha, what happened?" Mark asked, his voice softened.
"It's nothing. We're all good here." She lied.
"I'm worried about you. Haechan said you haven't had your meds in a while. Why didn't you being them with you?" Mark asked worriedly.
"I haven't had the time to get them refilled." The girl said emotionlessly.
"Do I give a shit? Go give the damn phone to Jisung." Mark said, not liking her excuse. She's been grounded from missions, she had plenty of time. Aecha slowly made her way to Jisung's room. Knocking on the door, she handed the phone out for him to grab.
"He wants to talk to you." She said quietly. He grabbed the phone, fearing for the worse.
"Yes, hyung?"
"Will you take Aecha to get her damn meds refilled?" Mark said. Jisung let out a small breath of relief.
"Yeah, sure." Jisung replied.
"Thank you. And could you please check up on her? She was crying. I don't care what happened. Calm me when you guys arrive home." Mark said before hanging up the phone. Jisung walked over to Aecha and Haechan's room and knocked on the door.
"It's unlocked." He heard Aecha say quietly. He opened the door and walked down, sitting on Haechan's bed.
"Mark hyung wants me to take you to get your medicine refilled." Jisung said. He wanted to apologize but became cowardly at the idea.
"Alright, let's go." She said emotionlessly. She had decided to just give up on her hope's that he'd tell her that he meant what he said. That he would give her a chance to say what she wanted. But he didn't and it left a bitter taste. The two walked out to Jisung's car since Aecha didn't have a license yet. She was too busy with other things and too lazy to even try when she always had someone else to drive her. They neared the pharmacy, an awkward tensionn filled the air that both tried to ignore. The silence was killing both of them, but neither did anything about it.
Aecha went inside to get her meds refilled and came out within a few minutes.
"Are you hungry?" Jisung asked, putting his cold front up once again towards the girl. She sent a slight nod and began to play on her phone. But she wasn't really paying any attention to it. Her mind stayed in one place. Jisung pulled up to a drive thru and began ordering their usual from the restaurant before they drove home. No one said a word.
Days turned into weeks and both had completely stopped talking to and about one an other. Haechan and Mark noticed immediately.
"What do you think happened?" Haechan asked the older.
"I bet he messed up. He probably freaked out." Mark said, laying back on the bed while Aecha slept on the couch again.
"Wouldn't surprise me. But I bet there is more to it. What would you say, because I think she probably was shocked at first and he freaked out before she could answer him." Haechan said, thinking deeply about his friends situation.
"That definitely seems possible."
"I mean, the looked good together. Like the several times he was there to help her. Like when she lost her necklace, or when she saw that guy, or when the old guy from the gala a year ago touched her-" Haechan was cut off by Mark sitting upright on the bed.
"He did what?" Mark asked.
"Nothing. It was nothing." Haechan said, scolding himself for letting it slip.
"I'm going to kill him." Mark seethed.
"Actually, Jisung best you to that a few months ago. Don't tell Aecha." Haechan said.
"I really hope they get their shit figured out. It's so weird how she ignores him.he does the same thing too." Mark complained.
Seemed a bit to early for a relationship soooooo
