The cold chlorine water stung my eyes and lungs as I held my breath and counted to ten. On ten, I pushed myself off the pool floor and floated up to the surface, taking a huge breath of oxygen.

"Nice! That was the longest you've been under.", Coach complimented me as I smiled shyly and thanked him.

It felt nice to hear Coach say that. Being the ace heir is hard work after all and having everyone depend on me is stress inducing. I pulled myself out of the pool and the air brushed against my skin, sending a shiver though out my body.

"Ni-ki! Over here!", I smiled as I heard my senior call me by my nickname he gave me. I jogged over to him carefully not to trip on the slippery floor.

As I reached him, he put my head in a playful headlock and ruffled my hair as I giggled trying to get away from him. Finding it cute how he had to tiptoe to reach me.

"Good work today. I'm proud of how much progress my heir has made over the last months.", I flushed as he complimented me.

Kim Sunoo. A senior I've looked up to and admired. He's our waterpolo ace and has been called the future best in South Korea for a reason. The moment he laid eyes on me, I knew I would do anything for him. Like becoming his ace heir.

"Thank you, hyung.", I thanked him shyly.

"No problem baby.", he whispered in my ears, my cheeks flushing more than it could ever.

Kim Sunoo is also my secret boyfriend. We've been dating for three months now. Approximately a month after I stepped for the first time in the school. It didn't really affect how we acted around in each other at school other than we couldn't kiss or act lovey dovey with each other.

"Wanna grab something to eat? I have a shift at the cafe.", Sunoo asked me while he drove the car.

I yawned and hummed.

"What was that cutie?", I playfully glared at him.

"Your boyfriend's hungry. You hear this?", my stomach growled as if on cue. Sunoo kept quiet for a moment before bursting into laughter.

I pouted and crossed my arms, facing away from him. Sunoo chuckled and ruffled my hair, my cheeks flushed.
He always made me feel giddy inside.

He drove to the cafe he worked at as I scrolled through instagram. Something caught my eye. Jaeyun posted after a long time and it was with..Park Sunghoon?!

"We're here!", Sunoo beamed and parked the car.

"Hyung, did you know Jaeyun knows Park Sunghoon?", I asked curiously. If anyone knows Jaeyun, it's his colleague.

Sunoo nodded and shrugged.

"Last time I checked, he told me they were dating. Why do you ask?", My eyes went wide as I took in what he said. Jaeyun and Sunghoon are dating? The popular student and the school nerd?

"Really? That's.."

"A shock I know.", he said with a chuckle.

"It's been two weeks now. But that's none of our business. Come on, cutie, I thought you said you were hungry?"

We got out of his car and as soon as we entered the cafe, Jaeyun came rushing to us, or more to Sunoo.

"Hey! You're late.", Jaeyun scolded my boyfriend playfully, throwing an apron at him which he caught.

"Got held back. Nothing serious.", Sunoo explained, putting on the apron.

I awkwardly stood there, trying not to admire my boyfriend as he tied the apron. Sunoo turned to me after awhile and chuckled, catching my attention.

"Go on and take a seat, baby. I'll come with your usual.", he said with a subtle wink. I blushed and nodded, rushing to find an empty seat.

I pulled out my laptop and busied myself with doing an essay my english teacher gave me. My hands had a mind of their own, smoothly moving across the keyboard with a grace to them.

"Ugh essays?", I jumped slightly in my seat, startled by Sunoo's voice over my shoulder.

Sunoo looked at my surprised face, chuckling and held out a tray which on top of it were my favourite cheesecake and mocha.

"Here's your order, your highness.", he joked, setting the tray on the table.

I smiled up at him as he ruffled my hair.

"Don't overwork yourself, Riki.", he pecked my forehead before striding back to work. I felt my cheeks flush and quickly went back to completing the essay.

How did I manage to get this man as my boyfriend?
