There is a little...bumper cars towards the end, nothing to drastic. As mentioned before they are 18-19, nothing underaged in this house

Giulia's room was the same as always.

Books littered the tables and floors, pages sometimes put on the walls. The window was open, the sun glistening into the room. Luca raised a hand and moved it against the sun, creating a shadow on the floor. His hand was talking. He smiled.

Luca sat on her bed while Alberto decided to stand. He looked tired and angry.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Alberto looked at Luca, looking hurt. It made Luca bite his lip.

"I was going to, but you decided to come here instead." It came out harsher than he wanted it to, but it was the truth.

"Well we weren't going to stay there all day were we"

Luca rolled his eyes, "You just wanted to come here to talk to her"

"Who? I came home because I wanted to come home."

Luca just looked at Alberto, then shook his head, "Nevermind."

"No. I want to know who"

"Does it really matter that much? I thought we came up here to talk about this" he held up the open envelope.

"Yes. We did." Alberto ran his fingers through his curls, "But one at a time. This- this whole day has been a mess. Why can't you just talk to me how you used to?"

Luca gave him a sarcastic look, "Huh. Wonder why."

Alberto rolled his eyes, frustrated, "I didn't choose that, Paguro"

"But you chose to hide for 5 years" Luca glared, completely masking how he truly felt. Alberto calling him by his last name helped none, in fact, it made the painful feeling in his chest worsen. He was too good at hiding his jealousy, that was evident, but he hoped to whatever god was up with the stars that his best friend didn't catch onto it.

Oh, how naive he really was.

Unknown to him, the teen in question was still having mental turmoil. What did Luca mean? Why was he bringing that up still? He snapped before he was able to control himself. He exhaled shakingly.

You're nothing. To me, to your mom, and to him.

Shut up.

You lost him the moment you woke up on that beach.

Pathetic.

You're absolutely pathetic.

And he was right.

Alberto really was pathetic, wasn't he? He couldn't even talk to his best friend without his head spinning. No matter how hard he tried he could never stay mad at the boy. His heart ached, and his eyes burned. It was always about him, wasn't it? Never his fault. Luca was the reason he hurt so much. And yet, he couldn't stay away.

Not saying anything, Alberto sat beside him, searching the floor for answers, anything. Anything to calm his thoughts and his heart.

Luca was saying something, but he didn't hear. Until he touched him.

Without thinking, Luca grabbed his face, roughly turning Alberto to face him. The blonde blinked before his gaze finally settled on him silently.
"What's going on in that head of yours?" Luca's brows were furrowed, hands not moving away from his face, his own inches away. He spoke quietly, "You're crying. Look, I'm sorry I got mad I just-" He dropped his hands and sighed.
