Hehehehe.

The next few days were awkward for both Luca and Alberto.

They took more time to themselves than they really should, worrying everyone around them. But was it really their fault?

When Alberto walked out of that room after kissing Luca, still rubbing his scent off of him, the poor brunet was left with nothing but his raging thoughts. Did he like Alberto? What was going to happen after all this? Can't he just move on and forget about it? Was Alberto just going to move on from it?

Okay, maybe not his fault. But it was his.

Alberto couldn't even look at him. When he spoke he rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the floor. Or stop mid way into apologizing to comment, 'Oh, this picture is new!' And laugh nervously.

And Giulia. Nothing goes past her. She's seen it all, read the body language easily like it was one of her astronomy textbooks, and pulled Luca aside.

"Alright, spill. What's going on between you two?"

Luca blushed, crossing his arms, "What are you talking about?"

"You and Alberto have been acting like love sick puppy dogs all week, and now suddenly you two stop talking?" Her voice softened, "Did something bad happen?"

Luca shrugged. The kiss didn't count as a particularly bad thing, right? It wasn't like they got into another fight. Luca smiled for a moment. God, even when they argued he loved that boy.

Seeing Luca's smile caused the redhead to hum, "Ah, now I understand." She smirked.

Luca didn't like this, "Whatever you're thinking, stop. It's not what it looks like-"

"Oh? That mark of your neck says otherwise."

Luca paled.

Alberto sat in the tree house by himself, letting himself think. Why'd he have to kiss him? Not only that but- he couldn't even think about that! He covered his face and groaned, looking down as the creak of the fence gate was heard, allowing Clementine to come in. She had her hair in two braids and wore a tank top and shorts. She took one look at Alberto and chuckled.

"Rough night?"

Alberto scoffed, "You could say that."

Clementine approached, looking up at the recently placed ladder, "Mind if I join you up there? I'm waiting for Guilia." She climbed up when Alberto gave her the okay.

The silence was unnerving to Alberto. He chewed his lip, then opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted hearing talking in the house.

"You guys did it in my room?!"

"Merda-Guilia we didn't-"

"I don't believe that for a second- Dio! Did you guys have the decency to not use my bed?!"

"Guilia!!"

Alberto turned a bright red as Clemintine just laughed, looking at him, "Ah, I understand now"

"It's not what you think! We didn't- Not that-"

"Clem!" There was a sudden, closer voice and Alberto's gaze snapped down to see a grinning Guilia and a blushing luca. His hand rested on his neck and his gaze remained on the grass below them.

"Hey Guils!" Clementine hoped down and embraced the shorter girl, leaving the two boys with their locked gaze. The girls gave each other a sly look and grinned. "We're going to get some gelato, do you guys want to come with?"
