Hey guys! Sorry I've been gone for so long.

The sun bore down on the two the next day, causing the eldest to groan and shield his eyes. He went to sit up, to cover his face, only to be held down by a weight. He looked down to see what it was, only to choke on air.

Snuggled against his collarbone was a lightly snoring Luca, hand over his shoulder to hold him there, legs tangled up with Alberto's. He looked peaceful.

He ran a hair through his brown curls, fluffy from the night before. He admired his features, from his closed eyes to his rosy lips to his..collarbone...

More marks riddled his shoulders, neck, and back.

Oh.

Oh no.

He sat up in a panic, causing the younger boy to stir, whining as he lifted himself up to glare at Alberto.

He was shirtless.

Oh no.

"What's wrong? Why did you-" Luca stopped, his eyes wandering to Alberto's neck and shoulders, "Oh".

"Oh? What?-" Alberto watched as Luca's face turned red. "What did we-"

Before they could continue there was a knock on the door, and in came Guilia, "Up, ragazzo. Papa wants you for something" She looked a mess; her hair was puffy, heavy bags under her eyes, holding a mug of coffee. She opened her eyes and they widened.

Then she grinned.

She gave Luca a look more than she did Alberto, and sent a knowing look Alberto's way.

The boys nearly fainted.

Guila didn't say anything after, she just closed the door and called out to her father, "He'll be down in a second!"

Alberto cursed under his breath and looked at Luca, who bit his bit and played with the blanket. He shifted, going to sit up before peeking under the blanket, and sighed. "Good, we're still dressed. I thought we- you know-"

Alberto nodded. Just the thought of it scares him. Not that he didn't enjoy the thought of pinning him to the bed, he was scared of what that would do to them as a whole. "I know. Doesn't see it that way at all."

"Luckily" Luca breathed, shuffling to get up and grab his shirt. Behind him, Alberto paled.

He doesn't want to do anything with you. Now, in the future, ever.

He shook his head. Silenzio Bruno. He didn't know what the future held. And he was sure his best friend didn't either. Yet the possibility scared him.

He inhaled deeply. No more nonsense. Just act like nothing happened.

The room was hot. The moon bore down through the opened window, the fishes watching them. The room was spinning; it was just the two of them, and the bed.

Hot kisses, some as soft as a butterfly's wing, others rough, a sign of their control slipping for a second.

Just for a second.

Alberto had Luca pinned under him, nuzzling into his neck, kissing, biting, whispering drunken sweet nothings to him to get whimpers in response.

The positions changed frequently. But it ended with Luca on top.

He grinned and kissed him firmly, trailing lips to Alberto's throat and collarbone. He nipped, loving the little gasps and the nails. The nails that dragged across the skin of his back light enough as to not mark it yet hard enough to make him feel it, made him buck his hips. A hiss cam from Alberto. It made Luca grin against him. It made Luca feel powerful.

Breakfast was silent. They ate and sipped wordlessly. Massing left to tend to the pescheria silently.

All there was were The underdogs.

And Clementine, who stayed the night.

Guilia was the first to put her cup down, inhaling sharply and looked at the two, "So, you two got busy last night huh?"

Luca turned red while Alberto sat there, eyeing Clemenitine. No one wears turtle necks this early in the morning.

"Seems you and Clem did too", he smirked, watching as the girls flushed a crimson color.

"We did not!" Giulia argued, then looked at Luca, desperately changing the subject. "We have two days until we leave for college. Did you want to go to that place we talked about?"

Alberto's heart clenched at that. Giulia and Luca, alone? What were they doing? Why couldn't he come?

His thoughts were interrupted when Luca spoke, giving him the grin that always made him melt, "Oh yeah! And Clementine can stay with Alberto!" Clementine looked at them confused, but soon smiled, "you two have fun. I'll keep signore fish company" she grinned at the glare he got from Alberto.

"okay! We're going now before it gets too late- bye!" Giulia tugged Luca and shut the door behind them, leaving just Alberto and Clementine.

It was silent for a moment, until Clementine turned to Alberto, "Let's go get him a gift"

"Che?"

"Luca. We should grab him something while he's out. A parting gift. I can grab Giulia one as well"

Alberto grinned. It was a perfect idea. "yes. I'm in."

—————————

Alberto let out the fifth groan of the hour. He couldn't find anything for Luca and him.

Clementine settled on two rings that said "Per Sempre" engraved inside. It was a simple silver band, a heart shaped diamond, on in orange and another in baby blue. They were beautiful.

Clementine turned to Alberto with a grin, "oh relax, we'll find- ohhhhh" with that she went right past him, eyeing four necklaces.

Silver chains, each coin shaped charm was different. One was a sissy, anyone was a cat, another was a planet, Saturn, and the last one was an anchor.

It was them.

It was all four of them.

As soon as Alberto saw them, he swiped them up. Beside them were two bracelets. Alberto swiped those too.

They soon left the shop happy, running into the two the had gifts for and noticed the carried bags of their own. They exchanged a look, grinning.

"We should get some gelato" Luca passed the bag to Giulia, who nodded.

"Sounds like a plan"

"yeah." Alberto locked eyes with Luca and smiled lovingly. He was going to love his gifts, Sounds like a plan.
