After they introduced themselves everyone drifted back to what they were doing before I came out, with the big dog fur waving me over. I followed him to a room.

"You can stay here," I looked around wide eyed, "I know it's not much." I looked back over at him as a loud crash sounded from down the hall. Causing me to jump and duck behind him, startled by the noise.

"GOD DAMNIT! WHO TOOK THE LAST MONSTER!?!?"
Lesly yelled, to which the others yelled back, "YOU DID"

All she said was, "oh" as she went silent. Marcus showed me around the room. It had a bed, A dresser, a closet. And even a window. Marcus turned around.

"Don't try to escape bud. That windows are bulletproof and locked. As is everyone of the other windows. I nodded and sat on the bed. he stood there for a few seconds before leaving, pausing at the door, "if you need anything come get one of us. And try not to be so afraid. Your with us now." And he left.

But no where is safe. I thought as I laid back. And it's true. Especially when you look like me. With my naturaly white hair and submissive looks. People have always tried to controll me. And when I refused they would beat me. So I learned to listen. And not talk back.

I hope I'm actually safe here, I thought as I drifted to sleep. Not knowing Sadie was watching me from the door.

Sadie's P.O.V.

Why isn't he trying to escape? I couldn't figure him out. He seemed to innocent. And yet so dangerous. that was the only reason I brought him here. I mean, sure he was cute. But he was also human. And humans where violent and extremely hard to tame. Especially the freshly caught ones. So why was he was just laying there. Asleep. I thought before leaving to make dinner. Looking through the cabinets and pulling down the ingredients to make some soup. Before Alexis came in to watch me.

"Captain" I looked over at her, " you better not get rid of him." I blinked, is she ordering me around? "What?" I asked as Marcus walked in, looking serious. "You heard her." He says, he stated as Alexis got in my face, "and he's our pet. Which means he's a part of the family." I pushed her back.

"If he causes problems. Then he's going." They looked at each other, "oh. And Alexis," she looked at me, "for your outburst you get to cook dinner and do cleanup," she groaned, "and you get to help her Marcus" I smirked as I walked out.
