ch 7: accepted

'beep....beep' what's that?, 'beep..beep' I shot up as one thought raced through my head, BOMB, yelping when the pain hit me I flopped back down. Gently reaching up and rubbing my neck. Well.. really just the bandage wrapped around it, before looking at the door as it opened and the doctor from last time walked in with Sadie.

"I can't believe it. You had him for one night, and he gets injured." He threw his hands up, "this better not happen again."

Sadie nodded before looking at me. Sighing when I glanced away quickly. "The guy who did this was severely punished. Blake. You won't be hurt again,"

I nodded as i said okay. Or tried to. No sound came out. The doctor noticed, "no talking. You have damage to you vocal cords and airway. So don't talk. Or it won't heal right." He tapped the i.v. bag," also I put you on some painkillers. So you aren't going to feel anything for a bit." I nodded as Sadie turned to him, "Is he clear to go?"

The doctor sighed, "if he comes in like this again-"

"He won't." Sadie interrupted, I put my head back down as everything started spinning, "just let the sedative kick in, then you can check him out."

I felt so tired. Why's everything going fuzzy? I just....want to...sleep...

SADIE'S POV

I strapped Blake into the car as gently as I could, before getting in my seat and starting it. Flicking the radio on as I drove, I tried to keep my mind off what happened.
It's my fault. I made him wear the collar. He looks so peaceful.

I reached over and gently pet his head, "sorry bud. I'll try to be a better owner"

BLAKE'S POV

When Sadie and I walked in Roxy was punching a bag with a dull 'thump-thump' sound. While Marcus was laying back drinking a cup of coffee, with Alexis leaning against his leg listening to something on her phone.

"Anyone know where the last monster-" lesly walked in freezing when she saw us.

"For the last time" Roxy grunted as she hit the bag again, "NO ONE is taking your drinks." She turned around, "now shut.....Blake?"
