I wake up and look over to see if Anthony is back yet. He catches me looking and just looks back down at his lap. There's something wrong with him, there's a look in his eyes. A look of sadness and disgust, a look of anger and hatred.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"Shut up." He says almost in a faint whisper.
"Wha-" what's happening? What did I do?
"SHUT UP!" he yells, standing up from the chair.
I go to sit up, but he pushes me back down.
"How could you be so selfish. How could you be such a BITCH!? How could you not realize what pain you were putting others in!?" He yells at me. "I talked to your old friends! And your family! And your cousin Jess, AND HAYLEY! AND ELLA! AND EVERYONE!"
"Antho-"
"I'M NOT FINISHED! Just tell me how you could do that! How could you push them ALL away like that!? HOW!?!?"
"Please it's not that simple,"
"NOT THAT SIMPLE!?"
"I WAS THE CAUSE OF MY PARENTS DEATH ANTHONY!"
"MAYBE YOU SHOULD'VE DIED INSTEAD OF THEM! I WISH I DIDN'T FIND YOU IN TIME! I wish you were DEAD! NEXT TIME DO US ALL A FAVOR, and cut until you bleed out and drown yourself in your own pool of blood!"
"How could you-"
"Fuck you, Cameron! I'm DONE!" He yells and storms out of the room.
This cannot be happening. This isn't real life. This isn't TRUE!
This isn't my life. That wasn't Anthony. That's not like him. This is a dream.
"WAKE UP!!!!" I scream.
"...Cam... Hey, wake up!" I hear echoing in my ears, it's Anthony. I knew this was all a fucking dream.
I wake up and bolt straight up into Anthony's arms.
"It's okay, just a dream. I gotcha." He whispers as I cry into his shoulder. "I'm here. I gotcha." He repeats over and over. And once again, the butterflies fill my stomach and my heart races and my mind tells me it's okay and I'm safe, and I'm happy.
It was all meant to happen. Anthony is my guardian angel, he's my savior.
