it was practically night in Kamurocho and Eda and Lilith were looking for someone to explain what the hell's happening
Eda: you know, i don't even mind sleeping on the cold, hard ground while everyone else sleeps in their warm, dry houses.
Liltih: yeah. and on top of that, i haven't bathed in weeks.
Eda: (confused) but we've been in this wacky-ass city a few hours.

Eda: god DAMN!
they enter the Millennium Tower and find out there ain't no one inside
Eda: huh. no one's here.
Lilith: oh good. cause if there were someone here, i oughta boil and butter him or her for this mishap.
Eda: i don't think you grasp the severity of our situation. there could be someone here....hiding in the shadows....right behind us.
Lilith: why's that?
Eda: look around you, Lilith! we're surrounded!
Lilith: by....(confused) darkness?
Eda: that! want! to!....get us.
Lilith: you're one helluva riot, sis.
then they head up to the tippy-tippy-top floor only to find Belos's mask on the floor

she got curiously suspicious about the mask
Lilith: uh....Eda?
Eda: not now, Lily. i'm getting a closer look at the mask Belos had. doesn't anyone understand this CRISIS WE'RE LIVING IN?!? (then she saw a crack in the mask's eye) this better be good.
Lilith: well it ain't too good. considering that sending us to Kamurocho was mostly your fault.
