Chapter IV; Nightmare.

Nightmare..

I hate those.

Ugh.. I can't.. get out from here...

I suddenly jolt up opening my eyes and started breathing heavily. I looked at my surroundings and I noticed that I'm still in the infirmary. "...yu?? Ryu??" I heard someone's voice with a hint of concern. "Dai.. Daichi.. you're still here... Thank goodness.." I said with a very soft voice, barely audible for him. "What's wrong? I saw you suddenly jolt up and breathing heavily. Did you have a bad dream?" He asked me, concerned like a mum who's concerned about her son. "I did. I had a dream that you guys will leave me someday. Just like how my old friends and family did to me." I said with no emotion in my voice. It's a monotone, emotionless, weak voice. "Ryu.." I heard Daichi calling my name, but I can't move a muscle. I was frozen there, sitting emotionlessly, no shine in my eyes, and then I suddenly felt a hug from Daichi. "I'm sorry you went past all of those alone... I wish I've met you earlier.." he said as he hugged me tightly. I felt the urge to hug him back so I did just that. I hugged him back, holding back my tears.

"If you have any problems don't be shy to talk to me okay?" He said as he brushed his hands on my cheeks. He then managed to put his forehead onto mine. "Daichi.." I called his name and chuckled. "Okay. I will try my best to do so" I smiled and held one of his hand, his hand is still glued on my cheeks. He smiled and I smiled. Seeing him smile made my heart flutter. But then I heard someone opening the infirmary door, Daichi puts his hand down and so did I. It was Hanako and Kunikida-sensei. "Hanako? Kunikida-sensei? What brings you guys here?" I asked them. "I'm just worried about you Kamitani. I didn't know you have low alcohol tolerance. I told the school's head chef to not give sake into desserts again. Turns out the pudding yesterday also had sake but not as much as today. The head master claimed that he accidentally poured a whole lot of sake into the filling of the mochi" Kunikida-sensei explained in one breath. "Oh.. thank goodness I didn't have hangover yesterday.. thank you for the info Kunikida-sensei" I thanked him with a smile and he mirrored the smile I gave him. Meanwhie Hanako... Was making the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) face. "What?" I stared at Hanako. "Nothing. I just felt like we disturbed osmething between you and Daichi. He's covering his face" she spoke as she points at Daichi's direction. "Hanako shut up" Daichi said as he scooted even further. Hanako snorted and went out the infirmary. Kunikida-sensei also bid goodbye to us.

"Well.. we better get going too right?" I asked Daichi but didn't get a response. "Daichi?" I called him again. Didn't get another response. Weird.. "Daichi?" I called him again as I walked to his direction. "Oh.. he's asleep.. okay then" I said to myself, then carried him and plopped him down on the bed, making sure he's comfortable. "Rest well Daichi. Thanks for accompanying me.." I whispered to him. As I was about to walk out, he tugged on my sleeve. "Ryu..." He unconsciously called my name. I turned around to see him still sleeping. 'Is he sleep talking?' I thought to myself. "Don't go out yet... Stay here..." Daichi said while still being unconscious. I chuckled at the sight of him sleep talking. "Alright.." I softly said and sat down on the chair.

- a few hours later.

- Hanako's POV

"Where's Kamitani and Tsukishima?" The teacher asked and I looked around and noticed that they're not here. 'ho.. interesting...' I thought to myself. "They're at the infirmary. Ryu was having hangover because of the mochi he ate and Daichi is accompanying him" I said to the teacher. "This long? Oh wow.. Kamitani must've been very bad on alcohol. Alright then, some students is also a bit tipsy after eating the mochi, I can tolerate that" The teacher continued.

Class was finally over. School is over too. But I still haven't see Daichi and Ryu at all. 'Are they fucking each ot-?' I thought and immediately snap out of it. I decided to check the infirmary and holy shit. An adorable view blessed my eyes. Daichi was sleeping peacefully and so was Ryu. But they switched places. Must've been because Daichi was tired. Daichi's short dark brown coloured hair matches his personality and his face very well. Ryu was sleeping gracefully as loose strands of his beautiful dirty blonde hair fell onto his face. I smiled at the view of them sleeping but I must wake them up because school was over.

"Ryu, Daichi" I called them as I shook them to wake them up. "Hm..." I heard Ryu shifting. "Ryu, school is over, go to your room and sleep better. It must've been uncomfortable leaning forward onto the bed while sitting on a chair" I said as I pat his head. "No.. I'm tired to move..." Ryu said with a pout. "Oh come one..." I rolled my eyes and sighed. I decided to call Kunikida-sensei to carry them. He surprisingly agreed and brought them both back to Ryu's room.
'heheh' I giggled at them getting carried to Ryu's room. "Thank you Kunikida-sensei" I thanked him politely and bowed to him. "It's no big deal, Daichi had a crush on Kamitani right? I want to make my student happy" Kunikida-sensei answered. "What a nice teacher you are.. No wonder you're Ryu's favourite teacher" I said as I smiled and he smiled too. "Maybe. Well, I'll get going, I have some work to do" he bid goodbye and I waved goodbye at him.

- Ryu's room.

"Now.." I said with a grin. "Go to bed" I said to Ryu who's half awake now. "Fine..." He responded with a pout. Daichi somehow woke up too and went to Ryu's bed. "What" I watched everything that just happened. "Wait.. this is not how it's supposed to end..." I said to myself. "But oh well, as long as they're happy, I'm happy" I said to myself and left Ryu's room.

- Next morning, Ryu's POV

I woke up with my head still aching abit. I felt something that's on my stomach and I looked over only to see Daichi sleeping peacefully. While hugging me. 'what.. h-how is he here.. and since when I was in my own room??' I thought to myself. I tried to move Daichi's arm around my waist but he only tightened it. "Oh God help me..." I said to myself. 'what should I do..' I was thinking for awhile but then I felt a harsh tug that made me lie down again. It's Daichi. He's now cuddling me. 'Is this supposed to happen? ... Did Hanako do this' I was lost in my thoughts when Daichi shuffled even closer. Today is Saturday so there's no school today. I guess I'm safe?

After a few hours of lying down, Daichi finally moved and woke up. "Where am I..." He said while rubbing his eyes to make his vision clear. "Hi" I said innocently. "HUH" Daichi yelped with the sight of me sitting on my bed now. "R-R-Ryu... H-how am I here.." Daichi said while stuttering and Is aw a tint or pink on his cheeks. "I think Kunikida-sensei carried us here.. but I don't really know why you're sleeping on my bed...." I said looking away. "O-oh.. umm... I'll get going then.." Daichi said nervously. He hopped out of bed and he can't even walk straight. He tripped on invisible rocks. I chuckled at the view but I tried not to make my chuckles audible not wanting him to feel embarrassed even tho he's already embarrassed.

What an interesting day...

I felt happy.

After years of not having this feeling.

Happiness.

Yes.

Happiness when I met him and Hanako.

I felt accepted for the first time.

After two years meeting them.. my life slowly changes.

And I'm grateful for having them near me.

I wanted to be with them...

Forever...

And never fall apart...

Daichi..

Hanako...
