From the day that Ryu told Miiko to not show her face infront of him again, some students really changed. They started being weird around Ryu and his friends. Of course, Ryu is confused by how some are acting like that.
Ryu's POV
"Um... Do you need anything?" I asked to the students that has been circling around me for around 5 minutes without speaking or acting. "We don't need anything from you. We just want you to be with Miiko. She's so in love with you why can't you see it?" A student shouted making me cover my ears in defensive (?) manner. "And? She's fucking obsessed with me! Of course I'm not going to be with a fucking obsessive girl! Besides, I don't even fucking love her, she's annoying; following me everywhere and everytime. The one that I love is Daichi not her. Don't bother me again if you don't want to be reported to the Principal for bullying and forcing manner, bastards." I spoke without even knowing I cursed a bunch with a pretty loud voice too, which surprised me. Upon hearing that, the students immediately scattered and before they went away they shot a deadly gaze. "The fuck is wrong with those people.. can't even see I'm so fucking uncomfortable around Miiko. Just saying her name is making me gag" I spoke to myself as Hanako and Daichi is now coming to me. "Ryu, are you okay? I saw you getting circled with a bunch of chicks" Daichi spoke as he handed me my jacket for some reason. "I'm fine, they're just forcing me to be with her and of course, I declined. She's just so annoying. Hopefully she's not in our class anymore and even better, not here anymore" I responded while wearing my jacket and put on the hood. "Yep that's Ryu to me alright. His vocals are getting better. Don't force yourself to speak loudly, or else your vocals will go poof" Hanako said and I chuckled at her statement. "I won't, besides, there's no need for me to speak with a loud voice when there's nothing happening anyways" I responded and she nodded.
The bell rang and we went to our class. First class was Music. My favourite. Our teacher came in and she started to teach us about vocals and vocal range. Turns out some guy in my class can reach a damn falsetto. It was impressive to me. Then I remember the day I sang at the cafeteria. I didn't sing that loud but apparently a student has a really sharp hearing and they heard me singing even though I sang with a soft voice. "Kamitani, would you like to try to hit a high note for this song called Chiquitita?" She suddenly asked and I froze. "Me? High note? Are you sure Suzuki-sensei? I don't think I ca-" I got cut off by her shouting. "Yes you can. No excuses, Kamitani. This is my class and everyone should try." She shouted while pointing her laser pointer right on my left shoulder and she told me to stand up to get better vocal. "Come on. Try it" She ordered but I can't let my vocals out. "Suzuki-sensei, I'm not sure if you knew but Ryu had problems with speaking and singing loudly, if he forced himself his voice will be weak for probably a day or two" Hanako spoke out making everyone look at her. "Oh really? Then why did a student came to me saying that he sang well with a beautiful loud voice?" Suzuki-sensei tried to deny Hanako's statement. "I'm sure he didn't sing that loud, Suzuki-sensei." Hanako makes her argument stronger making Suzuki-sensei look back at me. "I don't care. If I heard a statement from my student that he sings well and can maintain a good voice for a lead vocal, that means he can." Suzuki-sensei didn't even care about Hanako's truth.
"Now Kamitani, try it. You know the song right? Sing the line;
Chiquitita, you and I cry
But the sun is still in the sky and shining above you
Come on, don't waste our time" Suzuki-sensei still forced me to sing and I sighed in defeat, knowing that Suzuki-sensei is our principal's childhood friend and if she told him about me declining her offer, he would've gave me a warning. "Okay.. If my voice become weak for a day or two, it's your fault for forcing me, Suzuki-sensei." I spoke out while Suzuki-sensei sat down and waited. "I don't care. Now try." Suzuki-sensei still believes that I can sing like a main lead vocal or something.
