Let's just name Mido's sister Shizu, shall we? Because I never got her name.
It was another peaceful day, the sky is clear as new, the sun is shining...
"(First Name) onee-san, are you listening?"
Ah, crap, I was carried away
You were talking to your favorite kouhai, Midorima Shizu. You are close to her, but not to his brother. He's kind of, too awkward for you, perhaps?
You promised to help her with her homework today, so here you are, in your classmate's house, Midorima. He's been busy with basketball recently, so he couldn't help his sister with her homework.
"Sorry, what did you say again?" You asked sheepishly. Shizu pouted as you asked her, "I knew it, you weren't paying attention!" She pouted even more.
"Sorry, I got carried away, the weather is nice today."
"Yeah, sure, it is." She looked up at the window, "I was talking about my brother. Mom is sick, so he got to make the breakfast, and guess what, it tasted awful." Shizu rolled her eyes. You giggled, you know that Midorima is very inexperienced in cooking, "At least appreciate her effort, Shizu. He wouldn't spend his time cooking for you if he doesn't love you."
"Sure, at least he has to learn how to cook, I mean, he's a highschooler. He'll have to survive on his own someday." She looks like she's thinking, "I know! How about you teach him cooking?"
"Eh, why me?"
"Aww, come on, your cookings are so great. The bento you made yesterday is delicious!"What?
Oh you sneaky Shizu.
Meanwhile, on Shuutoku's gym,
Sneeze.
'Why am I sneezing, nanodayo?'

And so, you actually helped Midorima with his cooking (read : forced by Shizu). You stood awkwardly in the kitchen as you put on your apron. Midorima stood beside you, fixing his glasses, "Let's just get this started with, nanodayo."
"Okay. First, I need you to show me your skills." You lifted a frying pan and prepare some eggs, "Could you make an omelette?"
"That's easy, nanodayo."

Black, scrambled, crusty omelette.
You quirked an eyebrow at him. Is his cooking is really that bad?
"Try again."
You watched as he cracked two eggs, put them in a bowl, stirring them altogether, and fry it. So far, nothing's wrong.
Until you felt the heat is too overwhelming. You looked at the stove, and saw him set it on high.
"Turn down the heat, Midorima, you should cook an omelette on low heat or medium heat."
"But it would make the whole process faster, nanodayo."
"If you managed to flip the side on time and serve it, no problem. Now flip the egg, it's brown already."

After lots of arguing, Midorima finally managed to serve a perfectly cooked omelette. Damn the struggle.
Shizu raised her thumbs up on you, "Well done, (First Name) onee-san! But, why did you taught him how to cook an omelette, not the other recipe?"
"Well, he has to learn the basic first. I just want to test his cooking skills, but I never expected it to be that bad." You shrugged.
Midorima glared at you.

"(First Name) onee-san!"
"What is it, Shizu?"
"I'm bored... Ni-san has been cooking omelette for two weeks... He seriously needs a new recipe..."
She grabbed onto your sleeve, "You should teach him how to cook again!"
You groaned.
Sorry for the wait, school's being hell, well, for a ninth grader, exams everywhere.
Hope you enjoy it.
