Stormy Night (Teppei X Reader)

It was another stormy night. It's been raining a lot lately. And how unfortunate of you, being awoken in the middle of the night because you're thirsty. At that time, thunders is currently running wild outside.

You never liked the sound of thunder. Afraid, to be exact. Even though you're at the age of (Your Age), everytime you hear a boom goes off, you would scurry to your bed room and cover your ears with pillow.

You gulped as you touched your bedroom's door knob. You really don't want to leave the warmth of your room. You picked up your pillow and hugged it tightly. Sighing, you walked outside.

If only Teppei is here...

Teppei is your bestfriend. He knows about your fear of thunder. There's one time when he's at your house.
It's raining hard outside. When you heard a sound of thunder, you quickly grabbed your pillow and covered your ears with it, whimpering under it.
He chuckled at you and went to pull you into his embrace. He would comfort you until you're feeling better.

He's probably asleep by now.

As you walked two steps away from your bedroom's doorway, a thunderbolt strikes followed with the boom.
You hugged your pillow tightly. Ugh, just get this over with.

You ran to the dining table and quickly grabbed a glass of water, gulping down it's content, and ran back to your room.

You quickly climbed your way back to your bed as you slipped back under your blanket. You felt slightly better afterwards.

Suddenly, a buzz went off your phone. You grabbed it from your nightstand, and picked it up, "Hello?"

"Ah, so you're awake, (First Name)-chan."
That familiar voice soothes your racing heart.
"Oh, hi Teppei-kun. What are you doing calling me at this hour?"
You heard his sheepish laugh on the other side, "Well, I was kind of awoken by the thunder. I thought you wouldn't be able to sleep by now, so I decided to call you."

"Mm. I can't sleep right now. I just got thirsty, so I had to make a run to grab a drink."
"I see. Are you okay there?"
"Probably. I'm cuddling with my pillow right now, but somehow I'm still...scared." you muttered with a slight blush.
A chuckle was heard, "Don't worry, you're safe there. Those thunders won't hurt you." He paused for a moment, "I got an idea. You want me to talk to you until you're feeling better?"
You nodded, "Mhm...Thanks, Teppei-kun..."

Later that night you both were telling stories until you're better.
