Espresso waved Latte goodbye before stepping into his house, sliding off his shoes and walking to his bedroom, huffing. "I seriously don't want to go.." Espresso plopped down onto his bed, curling up into a ball. Before Espresso knew it, he fell asleep.

Time skip.

Espresso woke up, looking around. It was dark outside. Espresso felt panic settling in, quickly sitting up and grabbing his phone, checking the time. "Shit! 9:46!" Espresso stood up, throwing his phone aside and taking off his school uniform, running over to his closet and grabbing a sweater and pants, sliding them on as quickly as possible. Espresso then ran over to the bathroom, brushing his teeth and fixing his hair, spraying cologne on himself before going back to his room, grabbing his phone before sprinting down the stairs. "I'm gonna be late-!"

Espresso slid on his shoes, dashing down the street. Luckily the beach wasn't too far away from Espresso's house so it wouldn't take very long, but it was still a fair distance.

Once Espresso arrived, he was panting, walking up to the crowd of people around the huge party boat, nervously getting on the boat and taking a seat on a couch that was outside of the boat.
Espresso sat there, looking down at his lap, debating on whether or not he should get off. The boat started to sail off, the gate closing officially. "..Too late now..-" Espresso huffed, leaning back into the couch, it was surprisingly comfortable for being on a boat.

Espresso listened to blaring music that seemed to vibrate the whole boat with each beat, closing his eyes, tapping his fingers on the couch in rhythm to the song.

"Hey! I was just looking for you." Madeleine sat down on the couch next to Espresso, offering the male a can of beer.
Espresso stared at the can, then looked at Madeleine. "Madeleine, we're underage-" Espresso furrowed his eyebrows.

"It's fine, it's just once." Madeleine smiled, opening it for Espresso. "..Alright." Espresso reluctantly grabbed the can, taking a sip. "We're here to have fun!" Madeleine stood up, grabbing Espresso's hand and dragging the male inside, going up to the music stand and turning the music up even more, turning the party lights on since it was dark enough outside.

Espresso smiled a bit, taking another drink of the beer. "Wow, look at that chick go!" A person in the crowd yelled out, all of them watching the woman on the pole dancing, earning loud cheers from the audience.

Espresso looked over at Madeleine instead, who had just downed a whole beer can, running over to the woman on the pole, throwing money on her while laughing. Espresso watched, he couldn't help but let out a chuckle.
Madeleine walked back over to Espresso once the lady got off the pole. "See? Isn't this fun?" Madeleine ruffled Espresso's hair.

"Yeah!" Espresso was fully drunk at this point, even though he hadn't even finished a full can. Considering the male never drank beer before, he had a low tolerance. "Good!" Madeleine grabbed the can from Espresso's hand, placing it aside and holding onto the males' hand, twirling the male in a circle.

"I have no idea how to dance-!" Espresso tried to yell over the blaring music, but Madeleine couldn't hear, pulling Espresso close, moving their bodies in perfect rhythm effortlessly. Espresso's cheeks turned a light pink, feeling Madeleine's heartbeat.
Madeleine twirled Espresso again, Espresso stumbling back a bit. Madeleine luckily caught Espresso, wrapping an arm around the males' waist.

"You're awfully clumsy, huh?" Madeleine leaned into Espresso's face, earning a giggle from the brown-haired male. "Oopss.." Espresso looked into Madeleine's eyes, then down at the males' lips.
Madeleine got the hint and leaned in to kiss Espresso, closing his eyes.

"Madeleine, dude! Come check this new stripper out! He's totally getting it!" One of Madeleine's friends ran up to Madeleine and Espresso before they kissed. "Really-!?" Madeleine helped Espresso up, letting go of the male and running over to the pole.

Espresso frowned a bit, sighing. Espresso grabbed the beer can, drinking the rest of it, grumbling. "I shouldn't..even be disappointed, he's only drunkk.."

Espresso looked over to see Madeleine holding the male stripper by his waist, kissing him. Espresso felt his heart stop, dropping the can and running off to the bathroom, opening the door and peeking inside, immediately slamming it after seeing something he wasn't supposed to. Instead Espresso started making his way to the bedrooms upstairs instead, going into an empty one and locking the door.

"Why.." Espresso walked over to the bed and plopped down on it, curling up in a ball while hugging himself. "I don't even love him, so why..?" Espresso gripped his baggy sweater that Madeleine had given to him before they started hating each other in middle school.
Espresso felt tears dripping down his cheeks, silently sobbing. He had gone through pain before, but not this type. This was total heartbreak, it made Espresso's heart ache.

He wasn't sure what to do but sob helplessly on the bed, his tears collecting on the pillow. Espresso sat up as he heard knocking on the door, wiping his tears. "Ah- come in.." Espresso sniffled, blinking a few times to make the tears go away.

"Dude, that male stripper was insane, Espres-!" Madeleine opened the door, laughing until he saw Espresso. "Hey, are you okay?-" Madeleine looked at Espresso. "I want off of this stupid boat already.." Espresso responded, tearing up again.
"Woah, woah, what happened?" Madeleine walked over to Espresso, sitting down on the bed next to the male. "..You happened. Get out." Espresso scooted away from Madeleine.

"Why are you even mad? It's not like I love you. We aren't even dating." Madeleine scoffed, looking at Espresso. "..." Espresso just responded with pure silence.

"You're being so dramatic, acting like a girl on her period." Madeleine stood up. "Get over it, I don't like you. I'm allowed to kiss whoever I want." Madeleine then walked out, shutting the door after himself. Espresso started crying again, burying his face into the bedsheets.
Madeleine took a minute to process what he had said and how harsh he was being, looking down guiltily. "Damnit.." Madeleine took a deep breath, walking back into the room and closing the door, locking it afterwards. "Espresso, get up."

"..Don't want to..just leave..." Espresso laid there, covering himself with the blanket. Madeleine looked away, walking over to the bed and crawling onto it, pulling Espresso into a hug. "I'm sorry- I didn't realize how harsh I was being.." Madeleine mumbled.

Espresso turned around to face Madeleine, looking into the males' eyes with his teary ones. "I hate you.." Espresso sniffled. "I know." Madeleine wiped Espresso's tears away, sharing the gaze, leaning in slightly.

Espresso looked down at Madeleine's lips, the same painful feeling coming back. Madeleine closed the gap between them, Espresso putting his hand over Madeleine's mouth before their lips met. "My first kiss is special to me."

Madeleine chuckled, sitting up. "Alright, understandable." The blonde male laid down in the bed, pulling Espresso down to lay with him. Espresso's eyes widened, surprised at the sudden motion, looking at Madeleine. "Are you sure you want to cuddle with someone like me-?" Espresso tilted his head.

"Yeah, I'm sure, dork." Madeleine kissed Espresso's forehead, causing the male to bury his face into Madeleine's chest out of embarrassment, blushing. "You're so adorable.." Madeleine teased.
"Oh, shut up.." Espresso mumbled, closing his eyes.

Madeleine smiled, wrapping his arms around Espresso. "You know, I thought you'd never wear that sweater again." Madeleine closed his eyes. "..I wanted to wear it today, it was cold out.." Espresso came up with a random excuse. "Yeah, yeah. Didn't I give that to you in middle school when we got along?" Madeleine's voice was calmer and quiet, honestly soothing to Espresso.

Espresso felt his lips form a smile, nodding. "Yeah..I remember it being the middle of October, and I was cold. So you gave me your sweater." Espresso mumbled, half-asleep.
"You wore a short-sleeve shirt that day, like an idiot." Madeleine chuckled. "Madeleine, I know I'm drunk and tired, but..I love you." Espresso's voice was drowsy, clearly drained of energy.

Madeleine opened his eyes, looking down at Espresso. "I love you too, dork. Get some rest.." Madeleine kissed Espresso's forehead. "Okay.." Espresso slowly fell asleep.

"Goodnight." Madeleine sat up, getting out of the bed and exiting the room.
