Espresso woke up in his bed, sitting up and looking around. "Wasn't I at the bedroom in the party boat..?" Espresso felt a sharp throbbing pain in his head, wincing. "Shit.."

"Is that how you usually wake up?" Madeleine laughed, walking in with a pill and a glass of water. "What are you doing here-?" Espresso blinked at Madeleine, confused. "I brought you here after the party, I decided to stay and sleep with you. Here, a hangover pill." Madeleine offered Espresso the pill. "Ah, I see.." Espresso grabbed the pill.

"By the way, did I say anything stupid last night while I was drunk?" Espresso took the glass of water that Madeleine was offering, taking a drink of it and swallowing the pill. Madeleine went silent for a moment before shaking his head with a smile. "No, you didn't. You said that you loved me though."

Espresso's eyes widened as he choked on the water, covering his mouth, swallowing the water and coughing. "I what-!?" The brown haired male felt his face heating up quickly.
"I guess that means you've been jealous of the people talking to me, you don't hate me!" Madeleine grinned, putting his hands on his hips. Espresso's coughing slowly died down, looking away.

"I'm sorry, I was drunk and stupid- whatever I said, I probably didn't mean it.." Espresso mumbled, rubbing his temples. "There's no need to be ashamed~!" Madeleine jumped onto Espresso, hugging the male tightly.

Espresso let out a gasp, the air quite literally being knocked out of him, coughing. "You probably just..crushed my..lungs..!" Espresso squirmed around.
"Oh. My bad, ahah!" Madeleine let out a nervous laugh, sitting up. "If you seriously do love me though, you'll have to prove yourself and put effort into actually caring." Madeleine fixed his hair.

"You act like I'm madly in love with you or something.." Espresso huffed, standing up. "Look- we're..not going to be able to ever date in this society anyways. You're popular," Espresso walked over to the closet. "you can't be seen with someone like me. It'll ruin your perfect reputation. Plus, your friends are all homophobic." Espresso grabbed a pair of clothes.

"Love is more important than a reputation or high school friends, Espresso." Madeleine got up, wrapping his arms around Espresso from behind. "I love you as well, so..let's be hated by society together." Madeleine whispered into Espresso's ear, sending a chill down the brown haired males' spine.

"..Madeleine. I don't want you ruining your life." Espresso frowned. "I'll ruin my life for you then." Madeleine pulled away, turning Espresso around to face the male with a smile.
"We'll protect each other no matter what. But you have to promise me that you'll stay by my side!" Madeleine held out his pinky.

Espresso smiled back at Madeleine. "Alright..I promise." Espresso hooked his pinky around Madeleine's. "Good!" Madeleine lifted Espresso's chin. "May I?" The blonde asked for permission.

Espresso blushed a bit, nodding. "Yeah, go ahead.." Espresso looked into Madeleine's eyes. Madeleine leaned in, kissing Espresso, closing his eyes. Espresso kissed Madeleine back, his eyes closing as well. The two stayed like that for a second or two before pulling away.

"You're so adorable." Madeleine smiled, cupping Espresso's cheek. "At this point you're just teasing me.." Espresso frowned, crossing his arms. "I got caught red-handed..oops~" Madeleine chuckled, letting go of Espresso.

"Tsk." Espresso turned around, changing into the outfit he had picked out. "So, what do we do today?" Espresso looked back at Madeleine who was just watching, not paying attention.
"Did you watch me get changed-!?" Espresso grabbed Madeleine's arm angrily. "Oh-! Uhh..no-?" Madeleine nervously smiled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I have no clue what you're talking about.." Madeleine averted eye-contact.

Espresso huffed, letting go of Madeleine. "You could've at least looked away or something." Espresso turned his back to Madeleine, crossing his arms. "I'm sorryy! I couldn't help but watch." Madeleine whined, hugging Espresso.

"Please forgive mee..!" Madeleine buried his face into Espresso's neck. "You're dumb.." Espresso mumbled. "Does that mean you forgive me!?" Madeleine raised his head, smiling goofily. Espresso sighed. "Yeah, whatever." Espresso turned around, hugging Madeleine.

"Yay!" Madeleine kissed Espresso's cheek before pulling away. "I'm assuming you didn't hear me earlier, but I asked what we were doing today." Espresso crossing his arms again.
"Well, we should go on a date to the café, then to the park!" Madeleine smiled. "Could we go to the library as well? I'd like to pick up a few books." Espresso blinked at Madeleine.

"Sure. Let's go, I have a car!" Madeleine pulled his car keys out of his pocket. "Alright." Espresso walked out of the bedroom, Madeleine following behind. "I never knew you drank coffee, Madeleine." Espresso glanced back at Madeleine.

"Huh? Oh, I don't. I usually get tea or something.." Madeleine shrugged. "Oh, I see." Espresso made his way out of the house and over to a car in the driveway. "Is it this one?" Espresso looked at Madeleine.

"Yeah." Madeleine got in the drivers side, buckling up and starting the car. The brown haired male got in the passenger's seat, buckling himself in as well. "Today's gonna be fun, don't worry." Madeleine smiled at Espresso.

"Okay..if you say so." Espresso relaxed his muscles that were tensed, letting out a sigh of relief. Madeleine pulled out of the driveway, rolling the windows down. "What's your opinion on soulmates by the way?" Madeleine tried to start up small talk so it wasn't as awkward.

"Ah, soulmates? I've never really thought much about it. I don't think it's real, though.." Espresso shrugged. "You just find the right person in life and settle down with them." Espresso looked out the window.
"What a boring way of thinking. I think that soulmates exist, you just have to go through hardships in life before being happy with the person you truly love." Madeleine kept driving down the road, turning left.

"Uh- Madeleine, you were supposed to take a right." Espresso looked over at Madeleine. "I know, we're going somewhere different, I'm sure you'll love this place." Madeleine sped up.

"If you say so.." Espresso huffed, holding onto the seat. "Do you think that lovers from past lives are soulmates in their next ones?" Madeleine made a sharp turn. "Madeleine, slow down-" Espresso looked at Madeleine.
"Answer the question." Madeleine kept driving. "Sure, whatever-! Just slow down!" Espresso's body was tensed up.

"Espresso, you love me right? Like..truly?" Madeleine looked at Espresso. Espresso nodded. "Please, just slow down. You'll crash!" Espresso tried to convince Madeleine, who wasn't listening. "Let's be soulmates in our next life, Espresso." Madeleine smiled at Espresso, driving off the cliff.

Espresso's eyes widened, panicking. "Madeleine, what the he-!?" Espresso was cut off by a kiss.

Espresso's eyes teared up as he kissed Madeleine back. "I love you, Madeleine." Espresso pulled away, looking into Madeleine's eyes. "I love you too, Espresso." Madeleine shared the gaze.

Suddenly the panic in Espresso faded as he closed his eyes. He felt peaceful. Madeleine grabbed Espresso's hand, intertwining their fingers.

"See you in the next life, dork."
