Something new

Arizona: I love you so much. I really want to hold you close to me. This was so much fun, but I want more.
Y/n: I think we can make that work, but we have to be as quiet as possible and it's better if we leave this couch and go to bed.
Arizona: That would be new for us, being quiet.

You kiss each other passionately and I grabbed Arizona by her waist and held her close to me. She put her right hand under my chin tilting it so I was looking directly in her eyes. Then she leaned in to kiss me. My arm went around her neck and I had to kiss her back with all the passion I had.

It seemed like forever before we pulled away and looked into each others eyes again. We walked to the bed and I laid us back on the bed and Arizona started moving in between my legs. She began a hot trail of kisses down my body and her hands were everywhere on me.

Next, she helped me out of my short torso jacket and top, leaving my bra on. Then she turned me around pulling my skirt down over my knees and pulled it off, so I was almost naked. She undressed out of her own clothes and sat on top of me. I was looking at her with all the love I had.

Y/n: I love you so much. You are just just the most beautiful women ever.
Arizona: And you are the hottest chick I have ever seen.

You kiss again and start riding each other when you hear the girls giggling so you stop and go to them. They couldn't sleep so you told them a story. You were now so tired so you went to bed and got some sleep. Arizona rested her head on your chest and one arm around you. You fell asleep not long after that.

*The next morning*
Arizona: This trip is just amazing.
Y/n: It was and the girls like it a lot. I will make up our sweet cuddle moments when we are back home.
Arizona: You are the best. I love you so much.
Y/n: I love you even more. Lets get ready, because breakfast is waiting for us.
Arizona: Do you know what day it is?
Y/n: Oh god. I do remember, but I am honest that I forgot it.
Arizona: The day you asked me to marry you.
Y/n: Funny that we are back at that place where I asked you to be my wife.
Arizona: It was the start of the happiest days of my life.
Y/n: It is so special that we are here at this moment with the girls.
Arizona: They will like the fireworks so much.

It was a long day and you had so much fun with everyone. You walked around the park and are now watching the show at the end of the day.

Arizona: This is when mommy asked me to marry her.
Belle: Mommy is very romantic. I love all the lights.
Ruby: Mama, can we come back here again soon?
Arizona: We will baby, this will be our thing to do as a family. Just like we go to the zoo sometimes.

*After the trip back at work*
Jo: So we are all here. What is the occasion?
Meredith: I don't know. We are just back from the trip, to be exact. We are back 1 day and there is already a meeting. No one knows what it is about?
Owen: Sorry, I have no idea at all. Has anyone seen y/n today?
Jo: No, I haven't seen her or Arizona.
April: Do you think something had happened to them?
Jackson: We would have known by know if something did happen. Lets just wait, she will be here any minute.

*Back at you and Arizona.*
You kissed her lips while holding her waist.
Y/n: You are so beautiful today. Like even more then yesterday or the day before.
Arizona: This morning, I couldn't keep my eyes of you. There was just something.
Y/n: I had the same feeling.
Arizona: Last time, but I have to ask you this. Are you sure about this?
Y/n: I'm sure. I've been thinking about it for some time and I have made the right decision. Love and family come before work. It's better for the hospital to have someone with new ideas.
Arizona: You are so special and I love everything about you, but especially your hart, it is in the right place.
Y/n: Arizona, you and the girls make me that person. You all make me better each and everyday. Without you my world wouldn't have been so great as it is now and I'm going to make it even better. I love you.
Arizona: I love you too babe. Oh god look at the time, we have to go. We are late for the meeting.
Y/n: Can you give me my scrubs?
Arizona: Here. Can you pass mine?

*You got to the meeting room and everyone is waiting*
Jo: So what's up?
Y/n: Please take a seat. I have something to share with you all.
Arizona: It is nothing to worry about and before you start thinking we are not pregnant.
Alex: That would have been to funny.
Y/n: So I will just say it. I will step down as chief of surgery. I think we all need someone with new ideas and who will help us develop as surgeons. Personally I want to make more time for my family, I need to spend more time with them and want to see the world with them. As a surgeon I will work helping make this world a better place and make my patients better.
Meredith: We understand your decision and you can be so proud of all you've done. We thank you so much for all that you have done for us. Do you have any idea how you want to do things with choosing a new chief?
Derek: Is there going to be a application procedure like last time?
Y/n: I want to do it different. I have someone in mind who will be perfect for us and the hospital.
Jackson: Does he or she knows this?
Y/n: Not yet. Hopefully they will take the job, because I believe it is the best person for the job. Someone who has new bright and shiny ideas and knows how to motivate people.
April: Is it someone we all know? Someone from the hospital?
Alex: It is probably Arizona.
Arizona: No, I think not, because that would be really weird, because y/n steps down to spend more time with me and the kids.
Alex: That's true. I forgot that part, but Arizona as chief would be fun. First change will be us all on rollerskates.
Arizona: Funny Karev...
Y/n: That would be fun, but no it is not Arizona. It is someone who works here and we all know them.
Derek: When will you ask them?
Y/n: Somewhere today. If it is not something they want, then everyone can join the application procedure. First starting with our own people and then with people from outside the hospital.
Derek: I hope you've picked the right one.
Y/n: There is one more thing. Next week we will have that baseball game, so make sure you are all ready to have some fun and win.
Derek: Always in for a win!

You just had lunch and are walking with Arizona to the peds wing.

Arizona: So you will ask them right now?
Y/n: I am. I hope they want to be the next big chief of surgery.
Arizona: You are still not telling me who you want to ask it?
Y/n: Nope, it will be a surprise for you as it will be a surprise for everyone.

She gives you a sweet peck on the lips.

Arizona: And will you tell me now?
Y/n: Sorry but no, your kiss didn't work. I don't change my mind.
Arizona: Oh and now?

She gives you one more only deeper and longer.

Y/n: I will see you at 6 to pick up the girls from daycare.
Arizona: I hate you.
Y/n: I love you too honey.
Arizona: See you after work.

You walk to your office where you paged them to.

Y/n: Hey, it's good to see you. So do you know why I paged you?
Arizona: I'm so sorry to interrupt, but it's Sofia. She isn't feeling well and they think it's a fever. I go to the daycare and let you know how she is.
Y/n: That's okay. Text me as soon as you can babe.
*She kisses your cheek*

Arizona: I will. So sorry, but I had to bring the news.
Y/n: It's okay. Now go to our daughter. Hurry up please.
Arizona: I'm on my way. Bye. Are you going to tell her about what you did? Okay I'm leaving now.
Y/n: Where were we? Do you have any idea why I paged you? And what did you do?
Jo: Uhm no. If it's about that I stole two blankets than I'm so sorry. I will bring them back soon.
Y/n: Hey it's okay, keep them. We love them too and have one at home aswel.
Jo: Oh great. So what is it?
Y/n: I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you dr. Wilson. You did some amazing things the last year and are an outstanding surgeon. You have amazed me with your way of doing things and you inspire people by who you are.
Jo: Okay before I start crying, what are you up to.
Y/n: Jo Wilson I think you are the perfect one who can be the next chief of surgery.
Jo: You're kidding me! That can't be true.
Y/n: I really think you can make this a better place.
Jo: You really believe that?
Y/n: I believe in you. You deserve it so much looking at where you came from. I would be honored to call you my chief.
Jo: I'm shocked, but happy. Can I think about it and ask what Alex thinks?
Y/n: Of course you can. I actually encourage you to talk to him as it will effect both of you.
Jo: I love you y/n.
Y/n: I love you too bestie. Please keep it a secret to the others. I will only tell Arizona tonight.
Jo: I will come back to you soon and will not tell anyone else. My mouth is closed.
Y/n: That's good. Talk to you soon.
Jo: Give the girls a kiss tonight from me.

You got home and Arizona was already there with the girls.
Arizona: So it is just her teeth. They are coming trough.
