It was the next morning on the Kyoto trip, the Shiozaki boy yawning as he waited in the lobby of the hotel, waiting for the rest of his group. A few of the people in his group were already there, mingling amongst themselves as Y/N was seen leaning up against a wall, on his phone.
He was scrolling through his weather app, wondering what the weather would be. Moderate weather with clear skies for the day, perfect for a day of walking and exploring the city. Y/N sighs in content, remembering the walk he had with Saki last night. The shy face she had when she looked away when she asked him to hold her hand like back at the fireworks festival. One word ran through his mind.
Cute. That's all he could say.
Speaking of which, the blueish-haired girl could be seen walking out of her room and into the lobby with her cousin. She fixed her hair into her usual ponytail hairstyle, tying it with a black hair tie. The blueish-haired girl's eyes wander for a bit before they landed on the Shiozaki boy, him leaning up against the wall as he was looking at his phone. She watched as his lips twitched upwards into a smile, causing her to blush a bit before she herself smiled.
Yuzuru stopped walking as he turned around, seeing his cousin just standing there. He followed her gaze to see it led to Y/N.
He frowned a bit, wondering what type of relationship his cousin has with him. In fact, he noticed this change of behavior within her since the Cultural Festival. He had even heard of rumors of the two being in a classroom by themselves, the sun going down as the day was ending. The perfect conditions to confess one's feelings to someone.
Shaking his head of the thoughts, he walks back up to Saki and nudges her a bit.
"H-Huh?" Saki stutters.
"You gonna just stand there and gawk at him, or are you going to hurry up and grab some breakfast?"
"I-I have no idea what you're talking about..." Saki mutters.
"Sure, sure. Whatever you say. You coming or what?" Yuzuru asks.
Saki rolls her eyes, "Yeah, yeah. I'm coming."
"...You sure you don't have something going on with him?" Yuzuru asks.
"...Wh-What makes you say that? I-Is it bothering you?"
"No, nothing really. You just seem...different."
"Different? How?" Saki asks with a confused look.
"Hmm... How should I say this... You seem a bit more happier, I guess. You don't have that brooding and uninterested look on your face. Well, aside from the small smiles you have every time you receive a message from Taishi."
"R-Really? I'd like to think I haven't changed at all," Saki says, trying to hide her obvious change in demeanor.
Yuzuru faces forward, away from his cousin. "...If you say so."
But still, Yuzuru couldn't help but think there was something going on. He wasn't one to delve into people's personal lives, especially when it came to his family, but he couldn't help but be curious.
His eyes wander back to the blonde, Y/N Shiozaki now talking to a few people in his group, narrowing his eyes at him. Yuzuru loved his family dearly. And if anything, if anything happened to any of them, whether it be physical or emotional pain... He'd do something to the person that caused it.
---
With the day continuing on, Y/N and his group began to wander more around Kyoto. This time, however, they were traveling with Saki's group. While he couldn't necessarily walk up to Saki and join her group, they did have a chance to talk every now and then.
