Chapter 10: Duets

Sammy's POV~

I was supposed to have two performances today, but I decided to let Kaytlin go solo. So, the only one I had today was the duet with Daniel. I got dressed, the went down stairs to practice.

~After Practice~

"Finally!", I exclaimed, I was exhausted.

"You were really good", Daniel told me.

"Thanks! You were too!", I exclaimed.

I was really excited about this performance, we did really good at practice.

"Let's go find the others", I said.

He nodded his head in agreement. We walked around and found them hanging out in our hang out room.

"Hey guys!", we exclaimed.

"Hey, where have you two been?", Taylor asked cheekily with a raised eyebrow.

"We were practicing for tonight", I said rolling my eyes.

"Uh huh", Kaytlin said. I made a reminder to get her back later.

"Uh, whatever", I said.

Kaytlin's POV~

While Sammy was telling us that they were practicing for their performance tonight and that they weren't doing anything weird, I saw Daniel start to blush. He had it BAD for her, I just knew it! We stopped interrogating them and then just sat around talking and laughing. After that, we had to go get ready.

Sammy's POV~

"I don't know what to wear", I said.

"Clothes", Tyler said in a 'duh' tone.

"Oh, thanks captain obvious", I said.

I looked through my stuff. Bart had gotten Kaytlin and I a bunch of dresses for us just in case we wanted to wear them for our performances. I decided to wear a blue lace dress, it was cute, but not all that fancy.

I took a shower, brushed my hair and teeth, and got dressed. I decided to keep my hair natural, meaning I didn't curl it. I had straight hair, almost pencil straight. I walked out to see if Kaytlin was ready. She was wearing a dress almost exactly like mine, but it was black and didn't have a belt.

"You look great!", we both exclaimed to each other.

"Come on, we don't want to be late", Tyler said.

We walked down stairs and went back stage.

"Hey guys", we all said.

"Hey", they replied back.

"You look nice", Daniel said as he walked up to me.

"You do too", I said while flashing him a smile.

Daniel's POV~

Sammy flashed me a smile that made my heart go wild. I was crushing on her, hard. She had no idea what she did to me.

Sammy's POV~

"Daniel, Sammy, you're on", a crew member told us. He handed us some mics, we were introduced, and walked across the stage.

"Hey guys!", we both exclaimed into our mics.

"Today we're gonna be doing a duet", Daniel said.

"We're singing "Lucky" by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat, we hope you like it", I said, then we started singing.
