Chapter 11: Sweet Dreams

Sammy's POV~

As Daniel and I sang the song, I realized just how much this song explains how I feel about him, but I had no idea how he felt about me. I looked over and him and saw him staring at me. I flashed him a smile and he returned it. "I'm lucky to be in love with my best friend", I thought.

Daniel's POV~

As Sammy and I sang the song, I realized just how much this son explains how I feel about her, but I had no idea how she felt about me. I was looking at her and she look over at me. She flashed me a smile that made my heart beat like crazy, I returned the smile. "I'm lucky to be in love with my best friend", I thought.

Sammy's POV~

After the song was over and we were back stage, I ran into Daniel's arms.

"Danny, that was amazing!", I exclaimed as I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"It was, Sam", he said.

Daniel's POV~

She called me Danny for the first time in years, it felt great. We hugged and then the others came to tell us how great we were. She had such a radiant smile on her face that I couldn't help but smile.

Sammy's POV~

I was so tired, it wasn't late, not at all, but I was just so tired. I was having trouble keeping my eyes open.

"Aw, is little Sammy tired?", Kenny asked mockingly.

"Yes", I complained.

"Wow, you must be really tired, you didn't give me a snarky remark", he said.

"I'm so tired that I might pass out", I said.

"Why don't you go to bed and if Bart asks I'll tell him you didn't feel well", he told me.

"Okay", I said getting up. I could barely keep my head up, it just kept bobbing up and down. I almost made it a few inches from the couch Kenny and I had been sitting on, but I fell asleep while walking.

Kenny's POV~

Sammy was extremely tired, so I told her to go upstairs and go to bed. She started walking away, but fell asleep while walking. Just then, Daniel walked by, saw Sammy falling, and caught her.

"What the heck?! I she okay?!", Daniel asked freaking out.

"Yeah, she just fell asleep", I told him.

"Should I go put her in her room?", he asked.

"Yeah, that's where she was going before she fell asleep", I told him. Daniel grabbed her and carried her bridal style.

Daniel's POV~

I was currently carrying Sammy up to her room. She had fallen asleep while walking and then fell into my arms. She had asked me to hang on to her room key, so I fished it out of my pocket and then we entered her hotel room. I brought her to her bed, set her down, and covered her with the blankets. Before I left, I kissed her forehead.

"Sweet dreams, Sam", I said as I walked away.
