Chapter 15: Curiosity Killed the Cat

Daniel's POV~

I knew what they were trying to do. Set Sam and I up, but I just don't know. I loved her, but I'm not sure if it was in that way. The way her eyes lite up when she laughed made me feel nice on the inside. But, I wasn't sure if it was because of all the pain I had caused her or... something else. I was walking out of my room and wasn't paying attention and crashed into somebody else.

"OW!", they yelled. It was Sammy.

"Sorry", I said trying not to laugh.

"Do you have some kind of death wish on me?", she asked. I couldn't hold it in any longer, I burst out laughing.

"Oh, is my pain amusing to you?", she asked incredulously.

"Maybe", I said smirking.

"Ugh, I have to go practice", she said getting up as I did the same.

"What song did you pick?", I asked.

"Wouldn't you like to know", she said smirking as she walked away.

Sammy's POV~

I practiced for the song and when I finished I noticed Daniel was there.

"Are you stalking me?", I asked jokingly.

"No, I'm not stalking you, I was just curious", he said.

"You know what they say, curiosity killed the cat", I said.

"Yeah, yeah", he said.

"Let's go get some pizza!", I exclaimed as I grabbed his hand and pulled him along with me.

"So, what song are you singing?", I asked as we made our way back to the hotel.

"Wouldn't you like to know", he said smirking.

"Just curious", I said.

"You know what they say, curiosity killed the cat, don't get too curious Little Cat", he said lightly pinching my nose.

"Is that my new nickname?", I asked.

"Yup", he said smirking.

"Great", I said sarcastically.

~At the Convention~

I loved the dress I was wearing. Not too fancy, yet elegant.

"You look great!", Kaytlin exclaimed.

"You do too!", I exclaimed.

"Nice dress Sammy", Tyler said giving me a thumbs up.

"Thank you", I said.

Everyone complimented me on my dress, which caused me to blush. I was given my cue, walked onto the stage, talked, and then started singing.

I'm gonna pick up the pieces and build a Lego house

If things go wrong we can knock it down

"You did great, Little Cat", Daniel said to me.

"Thanks", I said probably blushing.
