Chapter 17: Stalkers and the Beach

Sammy's POV~

"We're all gonna go to the beach tomorrow, want to come?", Kaytlin asked Daniel and I.

"Sure", we both said. We looked at each other.

"Don't start", we both said.

"Stop!", we yelled.

"Me? You!", we yelled.

"You stop!", we yelled.

"No! You!", we yelled.

"Just shut up", Hayes said walking by. I looked at my hands. My phone in one and a plastic water bottle in the other. I took this opportunity and threw the water bottle at his head.

"Hey!", he yelled and turned around.

I was pretending as if I had no idea what was going on.

"Sammy, really? I know it was you", he said, then he ran at me.

"Ahhhhh!", I yelled as I took off running.

"Please don't kill me!", I begged.

"Mm, the probability of that is about zero", he said.

Then, I saw Kenny.

"Kenny! Save me!", I yelled.

I ran into his arms.

"What's going on?", he asked.

"Hayes is trying to kill me", I said into his shoulder.

"What did you do to him?", he asked.

I said "nothing" at the same time as Hayes said "she threw a water bottle at my head".

"Sammy, use you words next time", Kenny said.

"Fine. Hayes, you are a jerk face", I said as I walked away.

~Next Day~

"You can't come?", I asked everybody except for Daniel.

"Yeah, we all have to practice or something", Mahogany said.

"Okay. Daniel, are you still up for going?", I asked.

"Sure thing, Little Cat", he said pinching my nose.

"Yay!", I exclaimed.

I went to my room to change.

"Get out", I said to them.

"No", they both said.

"I need to change", I whined.

"Too bad, use the bathroom", Kenny said.

"I don't want to", I complained.

"Too bad", Hayes said.

"Fine, I guess if you're fine with seeing me naked", I threatened as I slowly lifted up my shirt.

"We're leaving!", they exclaimed as they left in a rush.

"Suckers", I said giggling after they left.

I got changed and then got a bag, put in the essentials, and left after throwing a pair of shorts on. (Just to clear things up, she is in a bikini, wearing shorts, so you can see her bikini top)

"Cute swimsuit", Mahogany said.

"Thanks", I said blushing.

"Wow, Sammy, you look great", Daniel breathed out.

"Thanks", I said blushing even more.

"Ready to go?", he asked.

"Yup", I said.

We talked on our walk there. I don't know why, but for some reason Daniel began holding my hand protectively.

"Are you okay?", I asked.

"Yeah, just don't want a guy being creepy", he said.

"O-kay", I said.

"Wow, it's really crowded", he said.

"Yeah, should we skip it?", I asked.

"Sure, we can go get some ice cream", he suggested.

"This is why you're my best friend", I said, beaming at him.

"I know, I'm pretty awesome", he said smirking.

Kenny's POV~

Of course some of us followed them. How could we not? It was Mahogany, Gilinsky, Jacob, and I that followed.

"Why are they holding hands?", Mahogany asked in confusion.

"Have you not seen some of these guys checking her out?", Jacob asked.

"Not really", she said.

"Look, I think they're skipping the beach", I said.

"Figures, it's way crowded", Gilinsky said.

"It looks like they're getting ice cream", I said.

"He knows her so well", Mahogany gushed.

We followed them for a while. They laughed and talked for a while.

Sammy's POV~

"They're following us", I said.

"What?", Daniel asked.

"Kenny, Mahogany, Gilinsky, and Jacob, they're following us", I told him.

"Are you sure? Maybe they're just trying to catch up with us", he suggested.

"No, I don't think so", I said.

Kenny's POV~

"Stalker much?", a familiar voice said from behind us.

"Oh, hey, Sammy", Jacob said.

"We weren't stalking you, we just couldn't get your attention", Mahogany said.

"Oh-kay", Sammy said, obviously not buying it.

"So, what do you guys want to do", I said trying to play it off.

"Well, I'm getting sunburned, so I'm going back to the hotel", Sammy said walking away.

"Mahogany, go with her", I whispered to Mahogany (obviously).

"Okay", she said.
