6. Rain (Eren x Armin)
The small streaks of precipitation streamed down the window's pane, each streak racing themselves to conjoin at the bottom. The pattering of rain on the rooftops had a steady rhythm, its calming symphony lulling a few cadets to sleep. Shardis had allowed the 104th Trainees Cadets to have the day off, the rain creating quite the problem after a while. Two of the cadets, friends since almost birth, enjoyed these days to spend together without anyone else. The shorter blonde male would normally read to the taller brunette, stories about the outside world which they dreamed so much about exploring. If it wasn't for those brute, blood thirsty savages out there, the two would've left the walls long ago. Those 60 meter walls encaged the last population of humanity, keeping them like lifestock for the slaughter. At the moment, these two friends were taking advantage of the calming rain to have as a nice background for the story, its pages eloquently explaining the outside world. It spoke about fields of sand, areas filled with soft snow, and even a giant body of salt water covering up most of the world. "I can't wait to explore the world.." The brunette murmured, looking up from his comfortable position on the blonde's chest. "Me too, Eren. But, remember, when we get into the Survey Corps we can help humanity leave the walls." The blonde smiled, running his free hand through the others tossled brown mop. "One day, right?" "Yeah.. You and I, we'll travel the world.. See everything the Titan's have taken from us.."
A/N: Armin here! I'm so sorry the updates on all of my stories have been so slow!! I'm on Spring Break, but for most of the week (Until 3/26) I'll be traveling... I'm currently in Ohio, with wifi, but I'm spending most of my Spring Break with my grandparents, and my uncle. Yes, I will be updating these.
