23. Still I Fly (Jean x Armin) HOLY SHIZZLE NIZZLE FLIZZLE HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEANY!!!!!

The blazing heat from the summer sun bore down upon the soldiers, the barren wastes of what remained of their world in complete ruins. Almost all three of their cage-like walls were shattered, humanity suffering an immense loss. The glistening orb in the sky was looming over the inner wall, the last remainder of humanity huddled together. So many tears were spilled, loud sobs ringing in the summer air. Outside those walls were the brave soldiers who decided to sacrifice themselves for the sake of humanity; the Survey Corps. The Wings of Freedom allowed them to soar in the sky, the breeze ruffling their tresses. It allowed them to be able to reach those savages weak point, slicing that point open so it would quickly die. Humanity had the smallest chance of hope, and it was slowly becoming less and less likely they would ever be able to travel the ruins known as their world.

On the border of insanity stood a small blonde boy, his baby blue irises trained intently on the sky. His horse was resting nearby, its muzzle burried in a fresh water stream to wet its parched throat. He softly hummed a tune, looking around for the copper haired male he adored. "Jean.. Please be ok.." The boy murmured. The Survey Corps had stopped and made a make-shift camp in what remained of the Trost District. "Jean!" He shrieked, running over and enveloping said male into a gigantic hug. "I thought I lost you.." The copper haired male muttered into the blonde's neck, his cheek resting against the crook of the others neck. "As long as you're alive, I still fly.."

"Still I fly, for you only.."
