The calming noise of the raindrops pattering against the unprotected earth set a nice atmosphere for the peaceful night. It would be peaceful if it wasn't for the upcoming expedition looming over the heads of the Survey Corps members. How unsettling it was to not know if you were going to survive the next few days, with the jaws of death impending above ones head. This unsettled a certain blonde boy, the inability to sleep making his mind and gaze wander to the pale, glistening orb in the sky. How it hardly emitted any light, but just enough to act as a calming nightlight. The entire time, a set of arms were firmly curled around his lovehandles, bringing his back closer into the others chest. The short breaths that ghosted over his neck told him the boy he adored was asleep... Managing to turn around, the blonde abandoned the gorgeous orb for the male he loved. His cerulean iris scanned the copper haired male's face, taking in all the details he could. The cuts on his lips, his jawline, how he had a small freckle near the bridge of his nose... These small details were precious. These small details made up the one he loved. "Jean... Survive.." Those words were uttered so quietly, before the blonde finally found himself in a calming state of rest.
