"Wh- What?" Hyerin mumbled, eyes widening in surprise.
At that moment, the bell finally rang, signifying the end of their class.
The students began to rush out of the class like there was no tomorrow.
Hyerin just sat on her seat, processing what was going on. She couldn't believe it.
It wasn't unexpected, but the fact that it still happened was still so hard to believe.
"Hyerin? I said let's go," Dabin asked the jumbled-up girl, "Aren't you coming?"
"H-Huh? Oh yeah, I'm coming" She shook herself back to her senses
They went outside to where the body was found.
Yet another crowd of students formed, some mumbling to each other, some looking disgustedly at the pool of blood that remained uncleaned while some looked ever so frightened by the sudden death.
It probably looked even worse than the previous death scene. It was almost as if the floor was painted red. That's how bad it was.
It was so much the scent of blood swayed through the air, utterly disgusting.
'She's dead,' The girl thought, 'She's actually dead'
"This is getting out of hand" Hyerin shook her head, standing in the crowd of students with Dabin by her side.
"You'd think the police would have gotten involved by now" Dabin laughed.
"Are you laughing right now?" Hyerin confusedly questioned the girl, "She just died!"
Dabin wasn't one to be fazed by a little blood, well, in that case, it was a lot of blood, but it still didn't bother her.
"Yeah, but it's kind of hard to empathize for a girl like her," Dabin excused, "Come on, you know what she did"
"Still!" Hyerin intoned.
After reprimanding the girl, Hyerin turned around and noticed a familiar boy standing in the distance.
She squinted her eyes to pinpoint who the boy was exactly and rolled her eyes on figuring out who it was. It was Riki.
He was staring in her direction but not at her.
She then followed his eyes towards who his gaze was on and saw Dabin, who looked like she was trying very hard to feel some sort of empathy.
She then saw him jot down something in his notepad and leave the area.
"I wonder what he's up to" Hyerin whispered to herself, pondering on what the conniving boy was doing.
"What?" Dabin, who was still next to her, inquired as she heard something come from the girl.
"Huh? Let's go inside" Hyerin spouted, both of them leaving afterwards.
Hyerin had no idea who the killer could be. At that rate, her whole class would be wiped out.
What a headache.
"See you tomorrow then" Hyerin greeted her best friend, the school day coming to an end.
And Hyerin was off. She started to head over to the library.
She thought about what happened the past three weeks. She was worried, at the least.
Before any other thoughts could make their way into her brain, she arrived at the library.
She went to their usual spot and saw the boy fast asleep.
She shook her head, when an idea came across her mind.
Hyerin advanced over to the table, brought up her hand and loudly slammed the table, making Riki quickly jolt up from his sound sleep.
