💜 BEFORE YOU READ THIS STORY, It contains topics of Sexual Assault and abortion. If that's not your thing or if it's a trigger, I completely understand and you can ignore this story. I'll be posting a much softer, cuter, and funnier story on Halloween. Although these two topics are mentioned throughout this story, there are comedic parts and very cute parts as well. I wanted to make an even balance of seriousness and loving in this story, and I would like the serious parts taken, well...seriously 💜
I woke up on my twenty-eighth birthday not having a clue in my mind on what to do today. I've been laying in bed for hours just staring at the ceiling absolutely confused on how women my age celebrated their birthdays. I had just recently been dumped by my boyfriend Gary, my parents divorced after twenty-three years together at the beginning of last year, and I just felt like the whole world was after me. I sighed and rolled over looking at my phone screen lighting up with notifications on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and IMessage. I didn't even want to look at them because I knew they were happy birthday messages.
I sat up stretching before getting out of bed letting my toes be tickled by the shaggy rug under me before standing up. As I was heading to the bathroom, there was a knock at my door and I rolled my eyes scratching my side. "Who is it?" I needed to know before I even thought about letting them in. "It's your local sex slave wanting to please the birthday girl." Prince said with a high voice. I giggled and came over to open the door.
Prince was standing there with his cane in one hand and flowers in the other and looked absolutely handsome as always. "Happy Birthday, Roze." He said with a smile handing me the flowers. I smiled and took them before he walked in. "Whoa, shit." He said. He covered his nose. "You been smoking weed again?" I shut the door. "Yeah...last night was pretty bad. You want tea?" I asked him. "Please." he said before sitting down.
I went into the kitchen area of my apartment to make coffee and tea listening to his heels click as he was walking around. "I wish you'd let me decorate this place. It's so...bland." Prince said. I sighed. "No. I know you wanna help out, but decorating costs a lot and I would never be able to pay you back." I said to him as I put my flowers in a vase of water. Prince plopped onto the couch. "I mean, it wouldn't be so bad if the apartment had some color to it. The walls are gray, the couch is brown, the carpet is a khaki color-" "I get it, Prince." I said with a laugh.
I made his tea and came in to hand it to him. He tilted his shades before looking from my t shirt to my sleep shorts that I slept in. We were so comfortable around each other, as we had been friends for almost six years. Prince fixed his shades before taking his tea with a smirk. "Cute." He said taking a sip. I rolled my eyes and started to blush before making myself some coffee. "What do you mean cute?" I asked. "Your shorts. Are those Calvin Klein Jockey's?" I blushed. "Prince! Shut up! Jesus. You know Victoria doesn't make shorts." I knew he was still smirking as I was walking into the living room and sitting on the sofa across from him. His shades were off and while he held the cup to his lips he was staring at me.
