I opened my eyes feeling a sharp pain shooting to my head. I was in Rozie's bed and she was cuddled up with me as she was sleeping. It was raining lightly outside as well, so the sun coming into the room wasn't hurting my head. I needed to use the bathroom really bad, but I didn't want to wake her up. I stretched and put my arms behind my head remembering our night and my body was getting hot just thinking about it. I don't think we moved all night while we slept. I heard a knock on the door and I looked down at Roze. She picked her head up and rubbed her face looking around. I smirked looking at her hair and how messed up it was in the back.
The knock happened again and Rozie climbed over me to get the door and I sat up in her bed watching her naked form peek through the hole in the door. "Oh, God." She whispered. "What's the matter?" She rushed back over to where I was gathering her dress up. "It's Terra. Gary's sister. We were supposed to have birthday breakfast." My eyes got wide and I got out of bed as she threw me my clothes. "Get dressed!" She whispered. I looked at the clothes. "These aren't mine, Roze. I think they're in the bathroom." "Go! Go! Go!" She whispered. I rushed to the bathroom and shut the door to get dressed hearing Rozie talk with Terra.
Roze was still close with Terra which made me happy. I had never met her, but she was turning eleven today which is why her and Terra were so close. She was the little sister Roze wishes she always had. I pulled my clothes on and could hear them talking as I tried my best to fix my afro.
"Happy birthday, Terra." Terra giggled and sat at the table. "Where are we going to eat breakfast?" She asked me as I fixed my robe. I smelled Prince on me, I smelled Prince everywhere now it seemed. "Maybe IHOP or something. I don't know, it's raining. Maybe we could have breakfast here?" There was a loud bang in the bathroom and Terra turned her head. "Is someone else here?" She asked. I swallowed hard. "Um...no...there isn't." Terra's eyes got wide noticing the cake. "There's two pieces missing. There IS someone here!" I sighed. "Prince...you can come out now." I called to him. I heard the bathroom door open and Prince stepped out from the hallway and into the kitchen.
He was wearing his suit from last night and it looked like he tried his best to fix his makeup. Terra looked at him up and down as he took a seat on the stool beside her. He was staring at me. "Is this your new boyfriend?" She asked. I snickered and so did Prince. "No. Not exactly. Uh, I've known Prince for years. Even while your brother and I dated. Gary actually introduced us years ago." I started making pancakes. "So, why haven't I ever heard of him?" Terra asked. I glanced at Prince who was smirking at me. "Prince likes to keep his life private. He...He's a secret agent." Terra gasped. "Like the ones that protect the aliens?"
"Sure." Prince said finally. He stood up and walked to the kitchen with me and Terra started following him around. "So, what do they do? Do they live here? Can you talk to them? Do they understand us? Can they fly? Do they have cars like us? Where are they from?" Terra spoke rapidly. Prince laughed and reached into the fridge for some orange juice. "If I were to tell you my secrets I wouldn't be a secret agent." Terra just stared at him. "So...So...do they eat like us?" Terra asked him. He laughed again and glanced at me as I flipped the pancake over. "Terra, sit down and I'll serve your breakfast." Terra sat back down at the island bar and Prince was leaning against the fridge. She pulled out her phone and started playing on it. "Active imagination for a kid that stares at their phone." He said quietly to me. I smiled.
"She's really smart, don't worry. Her phone is mostly for school which is where she's going after breakfast." I said quietly to him. I served Terra her breakfast and I could feel his eyes on me. "I'm gonna go. I got important stuff to take care of." I smiled. "You want breakfast to take with you?" He shook his head with a smirk and walked towards the door. "Hey, let me call Claude and tell him to get you. It's pouring rain." I said. He nodded. "Right. Yeah I'll wait." "Is Claude your partner?" Terra asked. Prince had an alarmed look written all over his face and I smirked. "In helping you with aliens, Prince." "Oh! Yeah. Yeah such a hard worker Claude is." He sat down next to Terra and I started making pancakes for Prince. I grabbed my phone and texted Claude knowing it'd take him awhile to answer because I wanted Prince to eat.
