Just pure fluff because I can.

Remus pulled his sleeves more over his hands as he cuddled further into his sweater.
He was sitting infront of the fireplace, reading a book, the pages turning with a flick of his wand so he didn't have to unwrap his hands from the warmth.

The portrait swung open and Sirius slipped inside, holding two mugs.
"Here I brought us hot chocolate." He said smiling and sat down next to remus.

"Thanks." He breathed out and took a sip.
Sirius cuddled up next to him and remus put his arm behind the other boys back, stroking up and down slowly.

The common room was empty except for the two of them.
Almost every student left hogwarts over the Christmas break, leaving remus and Sirius to be the only ones from gryffindor who stayed.
Peter went home and James went on vacation with his parents, they invited Sirius along but he didn't want to intrude.
Also, he was looking forward to spend two weeks alone with remus.

"I'm rather hungry." Sirius said after a while, looking at the clock.
"We can go down to eat dinner soon."
Remus hummed and involuntary shivered as a breeze of wind hit him.
It didn't really got better so when the next wave of cold hit him, he got up.
"Let's go down now, I'm freezing up here." He said and Sirius nodded.
"Could've just asked me to warm you up, monny." He grinned and Remus laughed silently.
"Later." He whispered and kissed his forehead.

The halls were empty and dark when the two walked down to the great hall.
When they entered, some ravenclaws and hufflepuffs were already sitting inside, sharing a table.
The few slyrerins who were still there, stayed at their own table and Sirius and remus made their way over to the one in the middle.
They sat close to a ravenclaw trio but kept their privacy distance.

They ate in a comfortable silence, playing footsie under the table every now and then, smiling down at their plates.

When they finished, they agreed to go back up the dorms and play a game of chess, both of them knew remus was going to win anyways.

"This is so unfair." Sirius muttered as remus won yet another round.
"I told you, you wouldn't listen." Remus said triumphantly but was interrupted by a yawn.

"Are you tired love?" Sirius asked as he picked up all of his broken chess pieces.

"Yeah, quite." He responded and Sirius grabbed his hand.
"Let's go then." He smiled and intertwined their fingers as they walked up the stairs.

Remus immediately slipped under his blanket and rubbed is feet toghter in order to warm them.
Sirius watched him fondly before he got under the blanket next to him and took him into his arms, leaning in.
He kissed him slowly, running his hand up his side to cup his face and stroke his cheekbone with his thumb.
"Sleep tight, love." He whispered and gave him one last peck.
"Good night pads."

It was a great feeling to be able to sleep through, waking up in your boyfriend's warm arms.
Remus smiled content, snuggling closer and burying his face into the crook of Sirius neck.
He knew he loved him.

After a while, Sirius woke up too and pulled remus closer for a few seconds before he pulled away.
"I'm hungry." He said, voice raspy.
Remus laughed "Only you... you just woke up." He mused and Sirius shrugged.

They got dressed in some comfortable joggers and big jumpers.
Another great thing about holidays, there was no dress code.

Remus slipped on two pairs of fuzzy socks and got a chuckle from Sirius in response.
"Don't even say anything, your slippers look like wolfs." Remus said defensive and Sirius shrugged.
"Because of you my dear."
Remus blushed and took his hand.
"Idiot" He muttered and dragged him down the stairs.
