5 months later
When I woke up doctors were screaming stuff to each other. Stuff like 'Take her off life support!' 'She'll never wake up!' 'This is pointless. She's gonna die anyway!' Then one doctor looked at me and screamed,"She's alive! She's awake! She's breathing!" Everyone was astonished. A girl in a coma for 5 months awake and breathing on her own. The thing is, I thought I was just sleeping. Then when I wake up I find myself in a hospital 5 months later? It's too much stuff to comprehend. I see my father in a chair smiling his mischievous grin. I gasped as I realized that my mom had a ring in her ring finger. I told the doctors that I was feeling much better and I was ready to leave. An hour later I was released from the hospital.
Later at home I asked my mom if she knew why I was in a coma and she said, "Of course I know why. Your father told me everything. You fell down the stairs and you landed on your head hard. He tried to catch you and pick you up but when he reached to pick you up, he took an extra step, stepping on your head." I stared at my mom in awe. She got the whole image all wrong. My dad's the bad guy. He's the villain and that only leaves me as being one thing else. The hero.

"Mom? Do you honestly believe that?" I said in a soft voice. My mom looked at me weirdly."Honestly, I think there's more to the story but my husband said what he said so I have to believe him. Unless I can hear a 2nd opinion. Do you know what happened?"
