Bellae's face was flushed with the sight she was seeing. There are strippers in this bar, and men are taking up most of the space. There were women here of course, but not as much as she's used to. Bellae nervously walked past drunk men, the place was loud, sexual music was playing in the background, people having the time of their lives. It was a lot for her, but she took a deep breath and breezed her way through the crowd to sit where the bartender served drinks.
The bartender serving tonight was a Faunus, a cat to be precise. And strangely enough, he has both traits. Over the past few months of living here, Bellae has only seen Faunus carry one trait of what animal they were. She looked at the nametag of her server, 'Percival' was his name. He smiled, noticing that she was staring. "I know, odd isn't it, to have both traits? I could say the same for you." Percival jokes, smiling while looking at her.
"Uh, sorry, I didn't mean to stare..." Bellae stammered, feeling embarrassed to get caught.
"Haha, you're fine!" He laughed, "So what can I prepare for you?" also asking, getting ready to make a drink for her. Also giving her a menu of what drinks they served to help her decide.
"Hmm...pina colada?" Bellae asked, looking at the names in a curious manner.
"Comin' right up!" Percival said, immediately creating her drink. It didn't take too long, he was extremely skillful with his hands.
When he was finished, "Here you go." He gently slid it to her with a smile.
"Thank you." Bellae thanked, taking a first sip of the drink, she was hoping it wasn't those nasty, hardcore bitter drinks, as she preferred those overly sweet ones. And to her luck, the drink of her choice is sweet. She sighed in excitement, taking in another big gulp.
"So, are you a Faunus?" Percival asked, curious with how Bellae looked. Multi-tasking in his job serving.
"I'm not, actually, I uh... I'm something completely different. Um..." The Xodiacian hesitated to answer. Unsure if it would be right of her to say she was an alien or a Goddess. Do people even believe in either one of those things? She was clueless.
Percival blinked a few times, confused on how to process what she just said, "So you're... An extraterrestrial?" He gave her a blunt answer.
"...... You could say that. Although, I wouldn't want word to go around so soon. I've only lived here for a few months." Bellae cleared her throat after taking a couple more gulps of her drink.
"Nah you're good. I won't say anything, 'cause who'd believe a Faunus, you know? Humans have closed minded heads." Percival snickered.
"Good. I plan on staying here for a long time." She whispered, trying to keep it on the downlow so other bystanders wouldn't hear her.
Luckily everyone else was too busy taking shots, flirting with friends, colleagues, even tipping strippers. While looking around the place, Bellae noticed an older man gawking at one of the strippers showing off on her pole. His black hair was graying slightly, red eyes with a hint of arousal. Licking his lips to clean away his whiskey and in a flirtatious manner. Bellae rolled her eyes and sighed in annoyance. Grossed out by the way he was reacting.
Percival noticed this, chuckled as he saw her facial expression. "Yeahhh, he's been visiting this bar non-stop for quite some time. Whenever he's not on missions that is. He's a Huntsman, so this is the only way to blow off steam other than doing only Gods knows what."
Bellae's ears twitched at the word 'Huntsman', this wasn't a word she heard before. "Huntsmen? What is that?" She asked in interest.
"Huntsmen and Huntresses are people to help protect and save others from bandits, the Grimm, and that's pretty much it." The Faunus explained, but that just led to her asking more questions.
