Something Big [A Sequel to show you]

Chapter twenty

     I sit on the bed with Gabriel. I explain what happened and he listens quietly. "Did you kiss him or..", he says. I nod slowly and he nods in understanding. "I'm not mad. I'm not even that hurt. I like you.. a lot. But, something I promised to myself is to never stand in the way of something that was meant to be". He looks at me and I nod. "You love him". I look down and nod. "Taylor, if.. if it doesn't work out for the final time, you know where you can find me. Don't hesitate".

   "You're breaking up with me", I say, not even asking it in a form of a question. I know the answer and I was expecting it. But I wasn't expecting this reaction. He lifts my chin up with his finger. "I never deserved you, at all". He smiles lightly.

   "You deserve so much more. No one on this earth could ever deserve you, Taylor. I'm just.. really grateful I got the chance to hold you and kiss you. Even if it was such a short time", he says. "Can I ask one more thing?". I nod. "Can I kiss you, one more time?". I smile and nod. He leans in and puts his hand on my cheek then connects our lips. A noise at the door makes him pull away. I look over at the door and I see Shawn. "I'll see you around Taylor", he kisses my cheek and stands. "Awful to see you again", he mumbles to Shawn. There's the jealousy I was expecting!

   Gabriel leaves and I stay seated. "Hi", I say to Shawn, as he sits beside me. "Gabriel broke up with me. I told him what happened. He was actually really sweet about it. But, I don't know. I don't know if he's hurt, or pissed, or happy, or relieved".

   "I can promise you he isn't happy. I'm sure he's crushed. If I was to bet, he's going to get a tub of ice cream right now. Then going home to watch The Fosters and cry because he wants his Taylor back", Shawn says, not even looking up to look at me. I tilt my head.

   "Do you do that?", I ask. He smiles a little and shrugs. "The Fosters is a pretty damn good show though. Jonnor is the shit so..". I shrug and before I can say anything else, Shawn grabs me and kisses me gently. I kiss back and he holds me tighter against him. I pull my head back and his hand goes to my hair. "Do you know why he was so okay with it?". He shakes his head. "He knows I still love you, and nothing can change that". He pulls back all the way to look at me.

   "Really?', I smile and nod. "You still love me?". I pull him back to me and peck his lips.

   "I will always love you", I reply. He smiles and kisses me deeply.

   "I'll love you longer".

  A/N: THAT CHAPTER SUCKED LUKE HEMMINGS. AGH IT WAS SO BAD. I tried. It was so all over the place. I SORRY. BUT HELL YES THEY BROKE UP.
