Edma hissed. " When I said she knew about some things, that wasn't included."

Adam was confused. " What wasn't included?" Edma sighed. " She didn't know she was... royal."

Adam flushed. " Oops." Edma glared at him. Her eyes then flicked to Alexis. If she had been surprised by this, it had only been momentarily. She was, once again, wearing her expression devoid of any human emotion. She sat, with her legs and arms crossed, and a perked up stance.

She had known that this trip would bring her information, so she had made sure to hide her emotions well. At that moment, there was shock over her title, anger at Edma for keeping a secret, and coldness. But there was something else. Understanding.

Her mother had been queen. It was the most likely reason she was brutally snatched from her daughter's life, and it was most likely the reason she didn't have a sister.

No emotions. She didn't let anything pass. Daisi fidgeted. So far, every word that he had uttered had been a mistake. From insulting the princess herself to revealing that she was, in fact, a princess. " My deepest apologies. I- I didn't- well, mean for that to- you know-" He stuttered. He wouldn't have known that the girl was listening if it hadn't been for her eyes, which were trained on him.

She didn't look bothered. This only terrified him more. Edma, on the other hand, was confused. Where was the girl from a little more than an hour ago who had attacked her with sarcasm and questions? This one looked dominating.

Edma would have scoffed aloud if it wasn't for her puzzlement. A dominant teenager against a government official. The position of the one who feared and the one that was feared should have been obvious. But for some reason, the girl seemed like she would win. Her simple dismissive face proved her.

The only reason Edma wasn't shaking in fear like Daisi was because, one, she knew that she could easily take the girl's powers. That and the fact that she had heard and seen the girl's personality, and knew that this one was a facade.

That or the talkative, rude girl was the act. Edma sincerely hoped it was the first. She wasn't sure how long the girl could last without emotions. The mentor had met people like her. She had seen how they started, and what they led to. Not Rogues, but cruel hidden leaders. Their personalities and human traits chipping away slowly.

She did not wish that fate for this girl, no matter how annoying she was.

" Adam, just register her." Edma sighed, her fingers pinching the bridge of her nose. She rarely used his first name, but he needed to be brought back to a normal state. He was far too pale for it to be healthy.

He nodded, scared. He turned on his computer and typed hurriedly, careful not to make eye contact with the girl. That proved to be a problem, as her eyes trailed him. His mouse hovered over the screen, until it came on with eerie light.

He typed in a password rapidly, though he had to delete the numbers many times due to how much he messed up because of his trembling fingers. Alexis noticed he clicked all over the computer. She subtly leaned so she could see he typed in a name, her name, into the server.

" I- I will n-need a blood sample." He mumbled. Alexis, who had been so still, suddenly moved. Startled, the man behind the desk flinched and closed his eyes.

He didn't feel a stab of pain, so his eyelids fluttered open cautiously. She was still in her seat, her right arm outstretched, looking down at him. He noticed that he was relatively smaller than her. He blushed, red creeping all over his face.
