Adelina stood, frozen, and people began to storm around her. Years of being invisible had allowed her to let down her defenses when it came to crowds.

" Come on!" Edma ordered, taking Adelina's forearm. Edma bumped through the crowd, dragging the girl with her. Rasha hesitantly followed them, knowing that they were still in need of his services.

They ran, bumping into people. She didn't bother to wonder where they were going, because she knew that Edma would figure it out. She was sandwiched between the mentor and the employee, who acted as defense against the screeching people.

And the girl felt grateful, although, of course, she didn't demonstrate it. She ran calmly, her helpers of different sides, as she felt the gaze and desperation of those around them.

She didn't complain when she slammed against all the bodies that belonged to the customers, nor did she resort to violence when people attempted to take off her disguise. She didn't even wince when the blinding light that belonged to cameras began to flash in her direction.

She remained impassive, and she knew that even while the sunglasses covered her angry eyes, and the cap covered her pulsing temples, that the people could tell that she would give them no satisfaction of acknowledging their attack. She had lost a lot of things due to her mother's death, but pure pride wasn't one of them.

They twisted and turned through many isles of sweets, towards their location. " Pass through this door! Here, this one!" Rasha commanded, pointing to the door, fingers only slightly covered by the heads and hairs of many Senarius admirers. Edma grimaced but nodded in the teleporter's direction, showing that she got his order.

She opened the door swiftly and quickly, and the people behind them attempted to wretch open the door. Alexis realised she hadn't known of true physical strength until she watched Edma fight the grip of an excited crowd. She shoved the girl behind her, into the room.

Rasha swept in though Edma's arm, with her permission of course. Rasha grabbed Alexis and brought her further into the room, away from the crowd's gleaming, hungry sight.

" I'm sorry. For yelling." He apologized firmly. She admired his ability to maintain a strong voice when he had burdened her with many savage people. She nodded, partly forgiving him.

After all, she wouldn't be herself if she was fully forgiving.

Edma finally was able to close the door, after much struggle. " Come nearer. I can't move from the door or they will slam it open!" Edma hissed in the dark. Her voice echoed, and Alexis realised that it was an empty room. A dark empty room in a glittering sweet shop.

Rasha led her in the dark, and the girl was grateful once again. She didn't feel like tripping over useless material. Though the room was empty.

" I'm sorry I had to bring you in here." He whispered to both of them. " But if I teleported and one of them grabbed me, and people grabbed them..." He trailed off. " I wouldn't have had enough power to efficiently bring you guys to the palace."

Edma, who was slightly visible through the small line of light that passed through the crack of the door, twisted her head toward them. " Okay, I understand. Now teleport us!" She said desperately. It was easy to tell that keeping the door shut was draining her energy. All of it.

Rasha jumped at the urgency of her voice, but he complied. " Okay." He flexed his arms and fastened one arm around Edma's waist, since her hands were busy. With the other, he gripped the princess's wrist.

Normally Alexis would have shrugged off such tightening contact, but it was either the touch of this young man or an assault by a supernatural being. Which would most likely end up in one of them dying.
