Ahn sniffed the air a couple of times. The scent she was searching for was getting stronger, yes, she could tell which house it was coming from She was known to make quick work of her enemies and those she was contracted to kill. She rarely made the mistake of leaving anyone alive, lest they become a liability in future. Just because she was merciless in her killings, did not mean she did not have her sudden bouts of temporary insanity. Tonight's spontaneity was even worse........ Her ears pricked up at the sound of hooves galloping towards her, but she soon relaxed. It was her brother, but he'd brought that man along with him. She didn't like him, didn't like the things he made them do. That poor little girl would have died too had he found out that she was still alive, she'd be dead. That was a secret she would keep even from her brother. The deplorable man yanked at Ahn's chain, eliciting a growl from her. He sneered and lifted one lanky, almost skeletal finger and a small stream of light flew towards her. Then everything went black.
