Hi guys ☺ I hope you are enjoying this little escape I've created for us all, as well as the music I've chosen to set the mood for each chapter. I usually take a while to update chapters because I'm always trying to perfect the plot, I think a lot about the motion and flow of the story, the main characters' development and their emotions and the depth needed to give you guys those "feels" because I'm good at torturing myself I guess. Besides that, I will always be grateful to you guys, because it feels amazing to even have anyone read my stuff, let alone think it's any good and you're comments make my day, so don't hesitate to communicate with me or simply share your thoughts on the story and have a chat amongst yourselves (chat without me...it's ok, I have friends too.. (cries in lonely)) Aaaaaanyway... You make me super happy and I know all you're handles by name (eidetic memory and all) and I look forward to someday becoming a writer that people can meet in person and trust me, you guys will be the first people I smother in hugs... last week I issued a little challenge and tried to push my writing a bit further, by asking you guys for suggestions on a name for a vixen in the story (I make this stuff up as I go people...every week and my brain gets fried sometimes) Well, some of you replied to me directly, others commented but the names didn't really fit with a vixen, so I reworked my initial plan and chosen the name "ho-tag" suggested by my reader (Uniquity89), I think it's pretty unique (see what I did there?) haha, and let me tell ya, It was a nightmare to plot a story line around HO-TAG, but as I get my inspiration from my genius fans, I too have become a genius and made that shit work... SO, enjoy :)

Laurent stood there frozen as he watched Larry having what seemed like a deep and meaningful conversation with the person standing next to Roy, then he watched as Larry leaned in to give the young woman what looked like a kiss. Laurent didn't recognize her at first since her body was sheltered by Larry's frame and there was some distance between them, but after she came into view his eyes went wide with realization.

Roy walked towards him with a smile on his face, unaware of the internal turmoil Laurent was experiencing and stood beside him, watching the moment. Mere minutes ago Laurent was in a state of bliss in Larry's embrace and now he felt as if none of it mattered anymore.

Melissa Gonzales was Larry's ex-girlfriend and although they dated for six years, they broke up due to her infidelity. Larry didn't spend too much time wallowing in his heartbreak after he found out and to the public, it's seemed as if he made a fair effort to forget everything about her, but if Laurent believed anything, it was that Larry never really gave up on her.

Larry was practically a saint when it came to the people he loved, much like the way he gave up his young dreams to travel the world with Laurent, he also gave up on his own desires for the sake of Melissa. Larry would never get angry at her, nor fight with her about anything, his capacity for forgiveness was nearly saint-like and even after she was found in bed with the Jacksonville football player named Chris Clemons, Laurent found Larry on his knees in his bedroom, pleading with Melissa to be good to him. Laurent felt devastated when he had to listen as his twin... as the other half of his soul, made a fool of himself for love. Laurent knew he should've interrupted their conversation that night, but out of respect for Larry he simply stood outside the hotel room, listening and breaking alongside his brother little by little.

Laurent questioned his own motives for not doing anything to help Larry save his relationship that night, because if he did, then maybe Larry wouldn't be in her arms right now. Maybe if Laurent supported them back then, Larry would've seen her for what she was sooner rather than later and never experienced such heartbreak, but he didn't and Laurent knew that his disdain for their relationship was what caused Larry to fall further into her. He was stubborn like that, the more you told him no, the harder he pushed to prove why he deserved a yes. Why did she have to show up here? Now? After he and Larry finally started to see what they could be for each other?... If Larry can look at her like that, then what was their truth? If he could kiss her with those gentle lips, then what was he doing to Laurent? Treating him like a remedy for his desire? Laurent didn't know what the fuck was going on, but If Jessica tearing Laurent in two with her rejection wasn't enough, having Melissa here was like a poison knife to his back.
