The last remnants of sunset were peeking through the London skyline, illuminating the buildings and people as the twins drove towards their destination. Larry was still thinking about how he felt when he saw Laurent in his new clothes and squeezed the steering wheel in an attempt to steady his nerves.

He knew that sooner or later he was going to have to tell Laurent how he felt and was surprised that his brother hadn't noticed anything strange in his behaviour so far.

Since they were so in tune with eachothers emotions and thoughts, they always knew when the other was going through something, but Larry also figured that since he had been closing himself off from Laurent it would make sense for his brother not to notice his behaviour. Just like how Larry didn't notice his brother was in pain until he was told about the breakup.

Laurent smiled as he turned down the window in Larry's car, wanting to feel the evening breeze on his skin. He held out his hand to surf the wind with his fingers and didn't notice at all how his twin was periodically stealing glances at his face, completely immersed in his beauty.

The radio was tuned into a station that started playing smooth jazz and Larry immediately changed the radio frequency, recognising the song as something that Laurent and Jessica used to dance too... Luckily Laurent was too focused on the city sites to notice the song or the brief look of distain on Larry's features... at least that's what Larry thought.

Lau: "Why did you change it? I like jazz"

His brother asked in a gentle tone of voice without turning his head, still gazing out of the window enjoying the breeze. Larry just sighed not caring enough to answer.

Lau: "You know... I used to dance with Jessica on that song, her dad played the saxophone before he retired"

Laurent smiled, thinking back on the fond memories spent with Jessica's family

Larry: "I just don't feel like slow songs right now, nobody important listen's to jazz anyway"

Laurent turned his head to Larry with a raised eyebrow and bit his bottom lip, knowing something was wrong. His brothers dismissive tone and attitude seemed a little off from his usual playful, relaxed self. So in order to figure out why, Laurent reached out to touch the nape of Larry's neck to establish a connection with him and give him some comfort in the process but he was surprised when Larry shrugged his hand away by moving his head in a defiant way.

Larry: "Stop, I'm driving"

Lau: "So? That didn't matter before"

Larry: "It does now"

Laurent furrowed his brows wondering why his brother didn't want to be touched and bit the inside of his cheek, worried about what's gotten into his twin. Over the past few months Laurent noticed that Larry had been very resistant to their connection and only let him in when they were dancing or when he had his guard down.

Other times Laurent noticed that his brothers thoughts had been filled with nothing but work or random things whenever they were alone and with his sudden change in attitude, it made Laurent think that maybe Larry was trying to lock him out on purpose.

Lau: *Larry....?*

Larry felt an uncomfortable wave of worry wash over him as he was feeling anxious, then the familiar tingling sensation of their connection filled his head and he knew that his brother was trying to talk to him telepathically, but he ignored it and pulled his focus towards the road since he knew that every thought he had would betray him the moment he let his brother inside.
