Les twins (The reason we fight)

As Laurent was casually dancing with Aubrey, who by now was super tipsy, super flirty and dancing without any form of embarrassment, Laurent realized that someone was staring at him from a distance. He tried not to pay attention to it and although he wasn't looking in the direction of the uncomfortable feeling, he knew it was Larry.

Laurent continued to dance with Aubrey, even though he was getting distracted by his brother's gaze, not to mention the fact that he was elbows deep in the after effects of the alcohol... he was losing focus and moving his body to the rhythm of the salsa beat that had now started blasting through the speakers, instead of dancing with his usual purpose and this made the crowd loose interest. People began to quiet down from their previous excitement of watching Laurent take the floor and this made the DJ panic a little.

The DJ that replaced Roy after his session during the twins' show, was quickly realizing that he would lose the crowd if he didn't' do something since Laurent didn't seem that interested in dancing anymore, that's when he spotted a very enthusiastic couple dancing around at the foot of the stage and walked around his booth to collect them, he reached out to the man, pulling him on stage and told the man to "dance up here", to which the man complied, calling his wife up with him. The man surprised everyone with his skill and the crowd's excitement began to grow. Laurent was taken out of his day dream by the sounds of their screaming and suddenly he was pushed aside as the man danced, clearly trying to show off his skill.

Larry saw his brother being forced to the side and it made him furious. There was no way in hell some random loser was going to steal the show from his twin, so he walked over and jumped on the stage out of view, then made his way to the middle where the booth was, ready to teach the man a "lesson". Laurent saw his twin and knew exactly what Larry's intention was, so he stepped forward and when he saw that same random man beckoning his wife closer to dance, Laurent took this as a unique opportunity to prove to Larry that he didn't need his help. Laurent then smoothly and without warning, grabbed the man's wife before they could dance and proceeded to "teach" her what real salsa looked like by navigating her around the stage.

The moment Laurent took the woman's hand, the crowd cheered and her husband was forced to move and watch as Laurent danced with her. Laurent used his whole body to guide her and did a move that Larry called the "nasty", which was basically Laurent shoving the woman's head down to his crotch while he was dancing and since he made it look so smooth, whenever he did it, it always came as a surprise to Larry. Everyone around them could see that her husband was not happy about that, but Laurent didn't care, his goal was to get Larry's attention and make him see what he was missing and that he was far better than Melissa.

Laurent was still very upset about the "fact" that Larry kissed Melissa so blatantly after confessing his undying love to him and even though his heart was hurting, he was still Laurent "mother fucking" Bourgeois and there was no way he was going to let some punk show him up during a battle. Even if this was just the alcohol talking and it wasn't even a battle, in his mind, he was winning and Larry was going to beg for forgiveness after the night was over... He would make sure of it.

Larry always got excited and proud when his brother danced with girls and did stuff like that because it brought out his manly side, but at the same time, he was feeling a hint of jealousy that his twin was getting so much attention from both the crowd and from other girls and it made him want to dance to prove himself. Laurent was interrupted by Larry barging in between him and the girl he was dancing with so he finished up. He could also see that the woman's husband had started getting jealous and because he didn't want any un-necessary conflict in front of so many people, he stepped to the side and tried to find Aubrey. Laurent briefly glanced at the man to let him know that he could steal his girl any moment if he really wanted to and the man looked away out of jealousy.
