Him- Chan (Kane)

Today I woke the girls up early because we have training, if we want to successfully take Lin and his army down, we have to be in good shape. Jin, Jay and I are going to teach the girls how to fight and use guns and other weapons, but judging by yesterdays incident it looks like a special Goddess already knows how to use a gun. 

The girls walked downstairs wearing their gym outfits and had confused looks on their faces. Imani was looking sexy in her outfit. 

"Mattina", I said.

"Yeah whatever", Imani replies, I guess she's not a morning person but she is going to have to deal with it.

"I was woken up at 5am in the morning and the sun is not out yet, can one of y'all please explain why I'm up", Khalani says in an annoyed voice, I guess she is just like Imani, not a morning person. 

"Yep", Naomi says.

"Morning ladies", Jin says. Jin was the most calm one out of the 3 of us.

"Well y'all are in for a surprise", Jay says.

"You don't say", Imani responds sarcastically.

"Well ladies, today is your first day of training. We are at war here and if we want to win this war and take down Lin, Imani's foster mom and Lin's men, we need to be in good shape", I said.

"Ahh yes exercising my arch enemy", Naomi says.

"Aren't y'all athletes?" Jin asked the girls, as he gave them water bottles.

"We are but...", Khalani says

"We hate waking up early to go exercise", Imani finishes Khalani's sentence.

"Suck it up", Jay says, he was right they are going to have to deal with it.

Imani Pov

Great now I have to wake up and go exercise, like I normally do when I'm at school. School shit I forgot we have school. 

"Thanks to Kane and his men I missed 3 days of school".

"I'm a bit offended Imani", Jay says.

"You are really worried about school right now", Kane asks.

"Did I say that out loud?" I asked.

"Yes", Jin replied.

"I have never met anyone who loves school as much as you do Imani", Naomi says.

"So since we're talking about school, can I go back to bed", Khalani asks, trying to get away from exercising.

"No, now lets go", Kane says.

We went outside and started jogging, Kane had given us smart watches to know which route we were taking. He didn't want us going anywhere else or getting lost because Lin and my foster mother were still out there looking for me and the girls. We started jogging side by side in pairs, I was jogging next to Kane, in front of us were Jin and Khalani and in front of them was Jay and Naomi. I think Jay and Naomi are a couple because the way they are around each other gives me couple vibes.

The boys started running and left us behind, I was at the back of everyone. I started slowing down because my bruises were hurting and I could taste iron from the blood in my mouth. I started jogging faster and the pain on my stomach hit hard and it felt like someone had punched me with an iron fist. I stopped and coughed out blood, Naomi and Khalani scram from where they were and came running towards me. I fell to the ground with blood dripping from my mouth. The guys looked back to see what was happening and they came sprinting to where I was.

"Imani", Khalani and Naomi scram.

"Imani, are you ok", Naomi says.

"Imani come on can you here me wake up", Khalani says as I was slowly starting to loose my vision, before I closed my eyes, the last thing I saw was Khalani and Naomi crying and Kane lifting my up.

Him- Chan (Kane) Pov

As we are running, we hear the girls screaming Imani's name as loud as they could from behind us. I stopped at my tracks and turned around and what I see breaks my heart. Imani was laying on the floor with blood spilling from her mouth. I ran to her as fast as I could, once I reached her, I examined her body trying to find bullet wounds or stabbings, but I found non, instead her body was covered in bruises. I tensed up when I saw them. Khalani and Naomi were trying to wake her up, I carried her but then she closed her eyes in my arms. I started to get scared. 

Its been years since I felt any emotions or even felt scared. The thought of loosing Imani made me scared, mad and even sad, it drove me insane. We got into one of the security guards cars and drove Imani to the nearest hospital as fast as we could. We got there and I shouted at everyone there and told the doctors to take good care of her, I wanted the best doctor there to take care of her.

The nurses came and put her on the bed and took her to one of the rooms. We waited outside the room for hours waiting for someone to tell us what was going on. 

"Mr. Chan", a doctor called out to me. We all stood up to hear what she had to say.

"How is she?" I asked.

"She's stable", she replied.

"Can we go see her?" Khalani asked.

"Not yet she needs to rest, the bruises she has are very deep and caused internal damage, which is why she bleeds when doing physical activities or adds pressure on them, I would suggest she takes a break from any physical activities for 2 weeks. It looks like Imani has been going through a very tough time and abusive relationship with someone and it has been going on for a while now. Some of her bruises are fresh and some are old, the old ones haven't faded away yet because she didn't get the medical help she needed. Do you know who could have done this to her?" The doctor said.

" OMG", Khalani says and broke down into tears. Jin grabbed her and hugged her.

"If you estimate it, how long has she been going through this?" Naomi asks.

"She's 20 right?" the doctor asked.

"Yes, we share a birthday together.", Khalani replied.

"Then I'd say 3 years", the doctor responded and Khalani fell to the ground and started crying.

"Since she was 17", Naomi whispers.

"I'm afraid so", the doctor answered.

Now I was certain, I am going to kill everyone who is after my Goddess, and for her foster mother, I'll make her pay for those 3 years she put Imani through. I will put everything on hold until I make sure I wiped her off of this planet, if it means I would have to let all hell rain upon this earth, I would.
