Chapter 6: MNSOR

Days had passed and we are na in our 4th day of Sports Event. So far, everything is turning out fine. My ankle is also healed. Although, not completely 'cause I still use the splint as the doctor recommended pero di naman na masakit or has any swelling.

"Reese! Do you have a moment? Pwede ka ba naming makausap?" Hinarangan ako ng tatlong ka schoolmates ko. I don't personally know them but I am aware na galing sila sa Theater club. I dunno what do they need from me but I have a bad feeling about it.

"S-sure....What is it?"

"Well, we are going to have a play tomorrow night and we are missing one more member. I am asking if you could join us?" Heh? Why me? I don't act and I am not good dealing with the crowd.

"W-why me? I don't act."

"You have a perfect face and body to be fit as a girl yung isang actress na dapat sa role na ito is sick and we don't think she will be able to recover 2 days." Sagot naman ng isa pa sa kanila. I diverted my gaze, uncomfortable sa offer nila. I have the perfect feature for this role??

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"We want you to play as one of the supporting actress tomorrow night. Please say yes, we really need your help. We already ask around but they are all busy, you are the only chance we have left." She said with teary eyes.

"I-I don't do that....I am straight." I told them just incase they think I am gay or something.

"Yes we are aware and don't be offended but you look very pretty as a girl. So, please help us just this once." The three of them look like puppies begging me for treats.

"O-Ok I———"

"What are you guys doing? Reese will not do that. He is not comfortable with the crowds and more with a girly clothing. Even I won't allow this. Please spare him and don't come asking him again." Kunot noong sabi ni Jeremy na syang kakasulpot lang.

"Jeremy! Who are you to decide for him? Are you his dad or something?" Sabay role ng mata nito.

"No I am not but I am his bestfriend and his mom trusted me to look after him." He answered raising his browse.

"Argh! C'mon man, malaki na si Reese to make his own decision." Sabat naman nito.

"Reese do you really want to join them?" Pinanlakihan ako ng mga mata nito as if warning me to decline them. I put my two pointy together as I looked away.

"Budz, I know na di ka magiging komportable. You can decline if you are bothered."

"Please Reese, help us." Sabi naman nung tatlo in unison.

I will surely be bothered pero yung tatlo kasi kulang nalang lumuhod sila. Kung sasali naman ako, it will only raise the suspicion of my peers na bakla nga ako. I don't want them to think like that lalo na ni Callista....Aaaah! Why again I am thinking about her?! But whatever, gaya ng sinabi ni Jeremy hindi ako magiging komportable at pwede akong humindi kung mabo-bother ako.

"S-Sorry....I-I think I'll pass for now. I'd like to help you guys but not in this way." I said with sincerity. Nabalik naman ang tingin nilang tatlo kay Jeremy na kulang nalang iba'on nila ito ng buhay sa lupa habang yung kaibigan ko naman ay tinaasan sila ng kilay.

"That sucks, you're the only person who fits in this role but seems we can't do anything kung ayaw mo talaga. We will be at the theater club if ever you change your mind. You still have until tomorrow kung gusto mo." She said not giving up.

"Oh c'mon, my friend will never change his mind." Sabat naman ni Jeremy.

"Excuse me, I'm not talking to you!." Sagot din niya na may inis sa boses. Napakamot na lamang ako sa ulo.
