My not so Ordinary Relationship

Reese's POV

*knock, knock*

"Reese! Wake up you'll be late for school again!"

"Hmmn...few more minutes."

"Hon, can you please see if the coffee is ready? Pour some in a cup please."

"Sure."

*knock, knock*

"Reese! Ano ba! It's 7:15am your class is at 8am!" I recklessly toss and turn as I tried to pull myself up.

"Fine, I'm up." Arrgh! I hate mornings!

"Good wash up and come down, breakfast is ready."

"I'll be there."

At 7:40am I'm ready to go. I also received a msg from my friend stating he's at school na since he always wake up early and go to Gym for early practice. He is a basketball captain of the school I'm attending. Whilst, I'm a mere ordinary student, or so I thought.

"Reese!" Narinig ko'ng nag echo sa buong hallway ang boses ni Jeremy. Nag iisang kaibigan ko since elementary.

"Oi. Done with your practice?" Tanong ko dito as he pats my back.

"Yes. You look like you haven't sleep for the whole weekend. Ang itim ng ilalim ng mga mata mo. Ok ka lang?" I scratched my head as I looked away.

"You played a stupid video games again whole weekend? Was it the reason I couldn't get through you?"

"Hehe sorry....Ouch!" I wail when he suddenly pinched my cheeks real hard. Sinakop nya buong pisnge ko, napakalaking tao pa naman nya, meaning malahigante din ang mga kamay.

"Oi Jeremy are you sure you both aren't in that kind of relationship?! Hahaha" Ani ng isa sa mga kaklasi namin.

"Pfft hahaha you both look so good together. I really doubt na lalaki si Reese." At sabay na silang nagtawanan.

"Are you sure you're a guy Reese? Kasi the way you act, your looks, and even your soft voice, all indicate that you're a girl." I look down on my feet as I blushed in embarrassment. I always get this impression. It's not new to me so why am I still not used to it?

"Please stop it! Reese is a guy, we've been friends for a very long time so please don't insult him like this." I look at Jeremy with my twinkling eyes, he appears annoyed and intimidating. He is a good friend of mine, almost as if he's a god-sent lifesaver.

"OMG Callista is coming in! She's as gorgeous as ever!" Tyaka naghiyawan ang mga kaklasi ko mapa-babae man o lalaki.

I look at where my classmates gaze are. Yes, indeed.

I really can't deny the fact that Callista can make everyone kneel in front of her. She's like a living goddess with the face of Aphrodite and strength of Athena.

I lock my gaze in her direction hanggang sa malapit na ito sa kinaroroonan namin ni Jeremy.

"Good morning Callista!" Bati ng mga kaklasi ko. Tumango naman ito at without changing her straight expression sa kanyang mukha.

Nabulunan ako ng biglang nadapo ang mga tingin sa akin. Feeling ko nag init ang mukha ko kahit sandali lamang na napatingin ito sa akin. My heart almost explode.

Yes, you read it right. I've been liking Callista since 1st year. We are now in our senior year, it's been almost 6 years this year. But I never ever once spoke to her. I just never had the courage and I think I will never have the chance either.
